I think what bartuc do are good. But the in one of his former "mapmaking base" forum moderator think he is such a threat for other forums member by posting to almost every thread, and ban him from the forum. Hope the moderators in this forum don't do anything like that to him. He's quite capable for being a moderator I think ^_^ sorry, off topic, back to the topic...

Well, it's just that I stick much to this part of the forum ;) I don't know if you ever saw the 'Warcraft III Discussion' forum before the site was upgraded. If you do, then you must have known the mood which hang around, people such as JaNa, Ice Knight and... eh... someone else whose name I can`t recall - and of course myself - created a some kind of... mood there. Even though the guy (RPG-Tyrant, I don't forget that name so easily... hard to do when you were about 90% of the time in that part of the forum :P) who moderated that part - not to mention that he is the only one who moderates that part - was... well, it looked like he was on vacation. About 24 hours a day. JaNa, Ice Knight, that other guy and I were like a moderator there... at least, until some guy (once agian, I forgot who it was) came with a 'wrong' avatar. Because of that an entire flame war started, and some mods and admins from other sections came to take a look at it too. After some time it ended and a new mod was selected for that part of the forum. She couldn't be very happy with her spot as a mod from that section since the section was removed a few hours after she gained control there. Make a search to all threads I made (ever) - not that you'll find much anyway, about 1 page full of threads - and look at the thread named 'Did the Warcraft III Discussion forum just dissapeared (wtf is this called like this? People are forcing me to violate my own Grammar-Nazi skills!!!1oneoneone - or so my brother said)?' You'll find more details there anyway. But as usual, I fell off-topic.

Anyway, if you want Bartuc to be a mod, talk to Draco. He is the one who controls such things. I'm just a low-life-crappy-modera.. wait, I shouldn't make a fool out of myself. At least, not in the part I moderate

Bartuc allows his mapmaking team to do another project beside his, I think. He prefered a free mapmaker, not sure about this, though. I myself already have my own project ^_^ Umm... The off-topic thing, I didn't mean to be like that :\ Once I met a bad forum moderator, and keep giving me warning when I go even a single post of off-topic things. But I think you're not that kind of mod, Fladian.

We currently are waiting for bartuc's friend's map, for level 1 of the campaign. Bartuc himself is the team leader. I am his advisor I think ^_^ . There are some other team members, but like bartuc said, he lost contact with several of them.

Oh yes, Bartuc mentioned about char evolving system. So the hero will evolve after he gains a few level in certain chapter. When he evolves, he got new skin or model. His attack type will be changed too. Maybe some of hero's skills will be changed too after evolved, not sure about this, I forgot to ask bartuc.

nothing we can do now,I remember the whole thing but it's just I go into so much friggin detail that it would spoil it tottaly but if it didn't they would not create it perfectly..............sad deal

hey fladian,your a mod. tell draco to make a place for campaigns to stay

it works like this:
each campaign will get a room from draco hosted or not,all you have to do is pm him your password for your room that you want
the team can post and submit things that are not for public eyes
any public info will be put in seprate forums

the mods of the rooms can authorise entry to certian people by putting them on an invited list so you can kick off or invite people who join or are interested in joining

it's an idea,give draco a link to this post
it's genious and I just thought of it on my feet each detail never tought of till the moment so mind mistakes cause it's what was at hand

Ok, I didn't do too much work, but at least I got the forest with the dwarves and the cages (the ones that are suppose to have trolls). I'll do extra work l8r if needed.

You got that right Beauty, I'm not a mod giving any warnings for falling off-topic... with a few exceptions, but that depends on a lot of things. As you can see, I fall off-topic more then often as well, so it is not *so* special ;)

The evolve system sounds fine... but personally, I'm never fond on evolving. Usually I like 1 model/skin/character and when he/she changes, then I'm usually annoyed ^^ But hey, that's my 2 cents.

I don't know the KoA forum, but if you can get banned for a post spree, then I don't see it as a good forum. I stick to 8 different forums myself and I go on a post spree more than often and I never get problems. On a side note, this is the only forum where I'm a mod.

If you are willing to be a mod, I suggest not sending any PM or message to Draco. Like he said "Don't contact us, we'll contact you" and that's what happened for me.

No Bartuc, I am not joining. I don't join any project - even though I'm in the credits of Dark Intentions - at all, because of several reasons. One of those reasons is, I retired from modding a long time ago, an other reason is, I'm not sure how long I'll remain on the forum. There's about 25 - 50% chance, I'll leave... permanently. Even though people ask me "Why would you want to leave? You like it here, right?" my answer to it is 'yes', but ask yourself, what would be more important for you? Your dream... your wish is in hand reach, or stick to the forum you enjoy so much? I go for my wish...

A lot of people don't like people who work on their project and an other because they could get a lack of time, like Albiino from LotC. He had no spare time left to work on LotC. A lot of people left there by now and the project is slowely dying. Lucy (project leader) just asked who is still willing to help with the project.

About this: "hey fladian,your a mod. tell draco to make a place for campaigns to stay", I have no special rights as a moderator. It are the admins and site directors with 'special powers'. The only thing that is different from me and you guys, I can warn people, I can close/merge/whatever/move threads, I can access the Staff forum and that's pretty much all. I can't do anything more then just that. Send a PM to Draco for it yourself. It'll be a lot easier, since I cannot guarentee any help at all... speaking of which, I still need to send a photo to a friend of mine :P

Oh yeah, with some apologies in my previous (the somewhat longer then others) post, because, well, my brother was visiting and.. well, he's a grammar nazi as for one, as the second point is, he likes to type some extra things too. I either put it between lines or whatever when he said something...*sigh* He's a moderator too from a forum I go to, once in a while, so he knows what I live with :P

But by all means, good luck, I'll stick around as long as I'm on the forum.

Respects me? :\ Draco respects me? :\ I think you got that wrong, it is exactly the opposite. No one would really respect me, or at least, not seriousely.

How many people need to be interested? At least an amount, look at the Cinematic project of Murcielago) (or something similar) as example, he's hosted here. You will need to wait for people... interest slowely builds, true, there are projects that had fans while they barely started, but that's different. You just need to have some patience, Dorelian doesn't host one very easily anyway... do not expect to be hosted... just take that from me.
