Well Maglok, I'm not much of a musician myself, hell I only play a wee bit of guitar, and I mean a small bit. But for the theme, bare with me here, I've never tried describing what I'd want music to be like. Anyway, I'd like something like sounding sort of 'foresty' Night Elf music sort of, but with some strong battle sounding drumming, like in the Orc music. I guess what I'm saying is sort of a combination of Orc and Night Elf music. If you could cook something up like that up, that'd be great. |

Well I started on it, and I seem to have a nasty... software problem I have no clue why but my string track and my solo trumpet track suddenly cut off at 15 seconds, here is a bit what I been figgling with. |

I didn't listened to it yet, but you should make a wav. file for Flamey too, at least, if he still has problems with listening to sound files :) |

An impression of compression rates: 1 second on wav is 22 times larger then 1 second on mp3. Wivh means that it would be 8 MB just for one person... sorry, but if it were a finished track like 3 minutes we would be talking 40-50 MB. Get the idea? |

I understand what you mean, I'm not fond on wav. files either, but it seemed to be the only files Flamey could play. (Flamey = Flamesforzul'jin if you didn't knew) Anyway, I just listened to it. It sounds pretty good :D Very orcish ;) |

That's very strange, cause these days mp3 support comes with basic Windows Media Player. Unless he is living in the Windows 3.1 era it should play... Hmmm... |

Who ever said he used media player :P That was the point he was using real player until... err... recently I think. There never has been a confirmation of that he downloaded winamp after the kind words of Abliino and myself ;) |

Sounds very good, I think it needs to be a little softer though, as the orcs are Shamanistic, but so far, I mean for the short time you made it in, I'm very impressed. |

Come to think of it yeah... he did made it in a very short time. I didn't really thought of it. Anyway, even though I said it sound 'Orcish', with 'Orcish' I meant more like the old orcs. (Bloodlusty) Though, I'm not completely sure what a 'Shaman' sound should be... But then again, I don't know much about music ;) I'll leave the thinking to Maglok ;) -Fladian |

Shamanistic music I think should have some softer sounding more fantasyish instruments, like night elf music, because they have a bond with the elements and the nature around them. But the music should also have powerful drums to empahsyze the strength and power of the Horde. Maybe I'm just being dumb, lol. |

No no please continue :) It's always best if people tell me what they want. I removed some brass, since it seemed wrong, but I still have the build up, then it goes into a little "lighter" feel. Still not done though :) |
