Guest | Okay, I've managed to get everything to basically work as far as installing, and started work (again ) on my maps in progress. One of the issues I'm wondering about, is if when a 'unit' trains another 'unit' if the production progress bar can be shown. It leaves the player a bit awkward if they don't realize their units are being built. Secondly, is there a way for them to train while moving? |

Guest | yes, it seems that blizzard removed it from the unit, which is quite awkward. Im trying to pry into this and looking for a solution for this, but really, there is no solution for that WITHOUT modding =\ my solution is to make it a small buildtime and give the builder unit using his cast animation to build. (like a mage which is casting a spell=>summoning unit) then make the build time really short, so perhaps its getting unnoted =) |

Guest | dataangel and firon, thanx for pointing the error out. It seems that I missed ONE SMALL thing in the unitmetadata.slk =) |

littlecramp, it isnt meant to be, i think that is the change he implimented in 1.1b, correct me if im wrong. |

The default editor doesn't have icon define in string form. Where as the supposely v1.1b indicate that it has! Anyway, at wc3campaign irc, cookie has acknowledged that he has forgotten to edit one the the table value, that is the icon string! |

Guest | Don't get me wrong, when I say this, I think the effort put into revamping the SLKs is great but seriously, how the heck can you pass them off as "Advanced World Editor"? From a developers point of view, this is almost a disgrace to the intent and the term. The name sounds like you are making an executable that either runs by it self or patches code inside World Editor. All it is is SLKs that defines paths for us. Considering someone will evetually make a *REAL* "Advanced World Editor" this is actually its own contained program, thats make the line now so prevent confusion later. Please do the mod community a favor and stop calling it "Advaned World Editor" and call it what it is which is "SLK Pack" or even "Advanced SLK Pack" is fair. |

"How about: Slightly more advanced Editor," Or "A bit more useful then the last one but not insanely great" editor, or " Pen-ultimate advanced editor that's rather more PEN then ULTIMATE," Editor. Or how about we just let cookie do 's work and maybe when he's all done it'll be truly advanced and we can all stop whining about it. |
