eehh.. im oging to be gone for a week.. ill be back on tuesday or wendsday.. hold down the fort until i get back!!!!!!!!

whenever i get back.. ill start back up on my cinematic and post up more screenies that hopefully wont ruin my plot:bgrun:

hi.. im not requesting some skins for a hero sentry.. it jsut basically needs a glow and maybe some minor changes to it if you feel like it.. but can someone just plz post a hero sentry? thx

I would like to help you, but adding a glow to a non-Hero unit requires mdl editing, and I don't know how to do that, sorry...

You can 'fake' the glow though, by creating a glow-like special effect to a normal sentry :D

There are two ways to do this:

#1 Create a special effect and make a trigger that moves it with the unit!

'Special Effect - Create <Special effect> At Position of <unit>'

Select a FX here:

DON'T put .mdx after the path for oyur FX!
So if the site says it's
Abilities\Spells\Demon\DarkConversion\ZombifyTarget.mdx
your fill in
Abilities\Spells\Demon\DarkConversion\ZombifyTarget



#2 Create a custom FX unit (recommended)!

Select a FX here:
http://members.lycos.nl/guidokessels/War3_SF.htm

Create a custom unit in the unit editor.
Go to 'Model Used' and put the path for your FX
(again, be sure you don't put the .mdx after the path!)

Make a trigger like this:

Event:
- Every 0.01 seconds

Action:
- Turn off collision for <FX unit>
- Move <FX unit> instantly to <Unit you want the FX for>

fx unit is speacial effect unit
that means,use UMSWE to change your unit into a speacial effet

with <FX unit> I meant the custom unit your created that uses the path for the special effect!

sorry for the slow down on screenies.. ive had tons of hw...

but heres 2 of the forest that i took.. who knew that it would look so cool when the cinematic mode went out..lol.. anyways.. i was jsut testing out my cinematic and then the mode turned off and heres whats left..
