Please, stop this nonsense. They are trying to do something nice for you, and make it fair. Then you all bust out with "oh this is just to make the admins rich" and so on. You dont realize that a lot of the money is coming from the admin's pockets. If anyone wanted to make money, there would be pop-up adds all over this site. Stoned removed them once he took over the site, offering to pay for it fully by himself.

You all really need to learn to be grateful. Just remember, this site is free to you all, and they arent requiring money to enter the contest. Just remember that this site isn't actually making anyone money.

Alright before people start spreading rumors about me, I just wanna tell that was just my personal opinion on the subject, and wasn't written to be mean towards anybody.

Short, what I said was that I believe this association was based on money. That Skull might try to make some money out of it (he succeeded in doin that in the beginnings of wc3c :ggani: ), but I didn't know he actually gave money for the contest (which just makes what I said wrong).

As for Metalplanet, well nobody even replied to it so don't make it look as a huge act of treason and as a gigantic loss of money, as it was only my personal point of view on the matter. Plus, they weren't even told about the contest.

Sorry if this post sounded mean to anybody, 'cause it definitely wasnt the goal.

He didnt say to not participate, he didnt means to offend anyone. He just wrote its stupid to let people parcicipe without helping giving some money.

It all writen in the french version. Im almost sure he wrote this after seing another bunch of harrassing and stupid question on his forum. The thread is probably very old and beside it will help wc3c get more people for your campaign contest.

Honestly, words in french really don't sound the same when translated in english. When I read this englsih version, I found it sounded extremely rude myself, but yet in french sounds very different.

I'm not a "devoted lover". :bgrun: Yes, I respect DK, but I don't pray on him! And I would say what I said if it was anyone else. It was just how you acted, that's what made me mad.

I'm not in a very good situation. As I said, I started a mod a month ago. Because of it I can't participate with my mod (though there's only a half of a model/skin and a 10x10 tiles of terain made!). But I don't want to give it up to start from scratch cuz I like what I'm doing. And here I meet with another problem. I don't have an official team yet. And it seems to me that I won't be able to cuz when there's a lot of teams where people join and can probably gain money in future, I can't offer money, so looks like I'll never get a team. ://// Damn. I don't know what to do.

your just gonna have to put it on hold for a while voodoo, thats if u want to enter the contest, or u could work in another team for the contest then still work on your original project in spare time lol

ah well, the rules have been set, im sure most other mods are upset with the rule, but its fair and understandable. As for the deamonkiller thing wow who cares its his opinion hes aloud to say what he thinks, even though it may be harsh. Hes appoligised so thats the end really.

oh and about the contest, how is it possible to not mention the people working on the campaigns, when they still have to recruit, also there is IRC for them to say which campaign there working on, and msn etc etc u wont be able to stop this from happening, so i say lets all stop bitching about this ****, and just have fun and appreciate what your being given.

maybe for the public poll we should have a poll for each of the finalist maps, and each member can check it out and give it a rating from one to 10...hm? then when all the votes are cast get the average score for each one.

If I wanted to make money I wouldn spend endless days on a site but get a job. I am doing this to futher reach the goal of a superb modding site with prizes, contests, development and alot of news about modding.
