It's something like Bloodelfspellthief, under Textures I think. The path after you edit it is the same; it overrides the previous skin unless you make .dl edits to change a model's skin path. |

Lets hope no One kills me too much for this question.emote_confused I am importing Files for my map. Basically everything new, icons, spells, Units, the works. I was wondering: A)If there is another list for jpg and tga files B) If the rules aply the same for Icons as they do for Skins and Textures C) what happens if I [say] want to create a new file name instead of using the preexisting ones, will it still work? How Do I make it work. I hope you experts dont tear this comment apart for its ignorance but I AM a noob, no denying it.:nono: Thank you For the previous help, too, draco. Just also wanted to let you know it was greatly appreciated and didnt go unnoticed. :gsmile: |

Well, for one thing, all skins must be in .blp form (and preferably icons too). If they're not, then convert them from .tga to .blp using Image Extractor; I'm not usre how to do .jpg's, WC3 VIewer prolly can. Icons can go to any path, but for disbaled ones to work, icons must go to: ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\BTN*nameoficon*.blp and ReplaceableTextures\DisabledCommandButtons\DISBNT*nameoficon*.blp Passive buttons go into ReplaceableTextures\PassiveCommandButtons\PASBTN*nameoficon*.blp I think. They don't replace anything, unless you want them to (at least in TFT, in RoC you may have to basic .txt editing... ask and you shall recieve info on it). Also, be sure to have the icon path EXACTLY like it is when you import it. No files must replace preexisting fiels except skins; if you don't want to replace skin, then you have to do a basic .mdl edit. What you do is get a .mdx --> .mdl converter, search for texture path, change it to your texture path, reconvert back to .mdx, and import. I haven't ever actually done this, so I'm not entirely sure how, but that should work. If nothiing else then just ask in one of hte forums, prolly modelling, for your change. Hope that helps you out. |

Hey... Draco. What's the path for Paladin Arthas with Frostmourne? I've searched through the lists but I can't seem to find it. Thanks in advance. icbm1987 |
