Uhm... Is this supposed to be a joke? I mean, come on, isn't there anything better you could do? All those things are easy to do on GamingForums. I ain't gonna spend half my time to change my avatar or my custum title. Its just a waste of time, space, and posts. Its like why buy a cup of water when theres a fountain right next to it. I agree with the fact that post count was better, way better. -KillR |

I'm not sold on the new system. You know, I took a small amount of pride in never having changed my forum title, and never spamming to raise my post count. And I got pretty far. Now, I don't know. I feel like I'm starting from square one, and it isn't worth it again. |

You are not starting from sqaure one, your post counts still appear in profile and in top15 posters.... Basicly this new system was put into use because we wanted to try something new, something that would mean more than just pointless post after post. Now when you create popular threads you get MORE of reward... And to all you negative nancy's, dont knock it till you try it.. We havn't even been using this system for 24h, it isn't even completly setup yet.. EDIT: I added a glow to my username so you can all see what it looks like, you can choose any color you want. Im also going to be installing a new feature which will allow you to change the font color of your name as well. |

The reason you cant see glow is because you are in the Orc system, so far this new Points system has only been applied to the Night Elf theme. I will be porting over all the changes to the the other themes once I finish tweaking the Night Elf one. |

Guest | The new system is starting to grow on me now, however I have a few questions. Concerning the number of views of a post, Im not sure, but when a user looks at his own thread, does the number of views go up, and if yes arent you afraid of abuse of this? Again Im not sure if this is possible or has been thought of already. My opinion on this is it basicly adds more fun to the forum, but we can totally carry on and be productive of course without it. |

Thats a good question. Infact up till 2 hours ago that was true. But I have edited the forums so that views by the thread author and guests do not get counted. |

urg... im in night elf theme and i can kinda see name glow... but u should make like the words in harlequinKnights sig so its really noticable.. and the reason most people are complaining i think... is either they see probs which are being worked out or they took pride in their post count, so you should either but post count under points or, in thier profile add a little points from box, and have like views, replys to thread, replys, approves, disaproves :D i know nothing about vb or anything you use to make so i dont know if possible but oh well :ggani: |
