Ohh no sorry! Patch 1.13 really messed the map up, I had to redo a lot of stuff. Dont worry, I've started up again. I made everything I could 1.13 compatible... also used the Destroy trigger trick I learned from Vex on a lot of triggers. It dropped load time by 25% at least. :)


Good news regarding 1.13: Map has about 30% less triggers than before because I could get rid of targeting/leveling triggers. 30% less variables too.. so it's a bit smaller and has less load time.

Bad news regarding 1.13: Some spells arent as I wanted them at first.... for instance, I had a spell that was a passive enhance pet bonus. The "fix" that stopped mapmakers from adding multiple item bonuses to a unit via triggers kinda screwed that spell.. :)


Updates:

I'm redoing the item level system to be MUCH more efficient and neat. It's all done in one trigger, now. Not done yet though. Concept finished, but I need to finish it for the item types.


Hero skills are very nearly done.

I think I can safely say terrain is finished.

Multiboard is 100% finished. It displays the points (they are your items' experience) and the number of deaths for each player.


Be prepared for an alpha test soon. Sorry for the lack of updates.. Patch 1.13 gave a bunch of work, I've been playing a lot of Call of Duty (Garand Rules!), and I'm trying to learn to play a guitar.. Busy busy. :D

I like the terrain on the south-east of you map. With all that fire, does it no make you computer lag up?

It doesnt lag ME when I'm testing, but it might in a full game. If it lags during the alpha test, I'll spread the fires out OR I can use the less intense Fire Gust model.

-Leveling items 100% completed.
-Fully 1.13 compatible (all known 1.13-caused bugs fixed)



Idea Help Needed!
The *only* major thing left is spells. About 12% of them are still not trigger made. I need interesting ideas for spells.. please view the Ideas Page in my sig to see what heroes need what if you have some ideas. :foot:

I think for us to give spell ideas we would have to have a 'feel' for you map. More storyline, what the characters are like and stuff like that.
An example of what I mean.....it wouldn't make sense for a holy paladin to have a spell thats called reign of hell.

The Ideas page gives a brief description, did you check it out? I'll post some more info below, though.

Irras, you mean the guy in black right? He's a ninja model... based off the troll headhunter (created by Republicola and updated by Cookie, I believe). He DOES have a torso but you cant see it because everything is black and he's crouched. When he attacks you can see it and when he moves etc. When he's standing still it's kind of hidden unless he does the little look around animation. and thanks :)

Icy Demon- an undead hero.
He is focused on freezing opponents etc. Basically, anything to do with ice shredding stuff. :) He has a spell that creates ice where he walks, and another where a huge ice storm is created around him as he teleports around, generally kicking everything's butt. (needs a 2 level ultimate)

Ranger- a human hero.
She is an archer, first of all. her spells are nature centric, including an earthquake creating attack. She also has a darker side, centric on killing individual foes, such as her Hunt skill. Basically, a half nature half assassin character. (needs a 3 lvl ultimate)

I believe those are the only heroes that still need skills.
