hey nice ideas for spells but breath of god needs revamped make it so when it levels up the distance they are pushed away increases also The Tornado needs to come on the unit befor the units are pushed away.....

It does increase with levels. Equation is 4 x (level of BoG x 2) = distance pushed each .05 seconds.

I'm going to change the animation anyway.. it's a bad one.

How about a High Winds aura for the Stormcaller based upon the Tornado aura? Every several seconds it tosses an enemy unit into the air.

And here's an idea based upon Dark Archon's Chains of Ice spell. Base a spell off of Silence, change the buff art to something cold related, uncheck "Spells," and check "Movement." Tada.

Ohh yeah. Silence and Drunken Haze have a loot of flexibility, thx for reminding me about that. I guess Blizzard wasnt really sure when they made them. It hink they can prevent 1) all attacks 2) spells 3) ranged attacks 4)movement. Very nifty..

Anyways.. I'm probably going to finish up another 25% of the spells tomorrow, leaving it 75% done. Thanks again for the ideas guys.

For Chain Hex, couldnt you just use Chain lightning and add a Special effect of Hex to each jump?:bgrun:

Dont worry about the spells that are listed.. that means they are already done. :)

But, I am afraid it's not as simple as changing Chain Lightning. Chain Lightning is hard coded to do exactly what it does-- zap zap zap.

I used a trigger that I learned from a very talented triggerer named Talbon..

It's late, but I'll quickly explain it..

There's a target variable with an array and a trigger that says for each integer from 2-how many targets max, move the invisible hex caster to each one and hex it.

That's a really, really lacking statement.. but I need to go to bed. Night.

Kind of a Knockoff of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (actually it's a total knockoff 8)) ) I made Din's Fire, but the only problem is, I can't get the fire to deal the damage I want it to. A lil help?

EDIT: Now has BladeShield as well. Same problem :bgrun:

For blade shield just make a permanent immolation move with no art, and have the damage you want dealt per second to a small radius.

For bladeshield.

edit the ability func so the graphics of bladeshield on caster are nothing.

Then, edit the targetart so that it is the stampede missile death.

Then, make a trigger that is activated when he casts the spell, which activates an initially off trigger.

The initially off trigger should have Every .5 seconds create a special effect attached to the guy, the fan of knives special effect. Then wait .4 seconds and destroy last created special effect (if you want).

Then, another trigger that starts when he stops casting the spell. Make it turn off the every .5 seconds trigger.


For din's fire.... you know the spell requires level 6? I couldnt use it. :(

About the lvl 6 thing, yes i know its lvl 6 req. but i put in a custom code to make the hero lvl 100!. the code is...lvl 100 (be sure to type it in exactly) the flame strike I added on doesnt do any damage, i dont know how! I dont use JASS, just triggers, and it can get really tricky. i also made a Hydra spell from D2. It's pretty cool tho =)). I dont know how to make the spells so they dont have any art tho =/. Help me out =P. Hydra is attached.

Okay try this:

Make a flame strike for units (uncheck hero ability) and set it to do the dmg u want. Make sure you set the mana cost to 0.

Then, make a trigger:

E- A unit starts the effect of an ability.
C- Ability being cast is equal to Din's Fire.
A- Create 1 wisp at position of triggering unit.
A- Hide last created unit.
A- Add a generic 5 second expiration timer to last created unit.
A- Order last created unit to flamestrike position of triggering unit.

That'll do it.

I just had a fscking awesome idea for a spell I could make myself, without the use of triggers.

Hey Xin, I made a cool spell for you, its Called Mirror Blink, you teleport away and leave a copy in your place, check it out =P
