Hello guys, I'm working on trigger based/enhanced spells for all of the characters in my map, but I'm kinda running out of ideas. emote_confused ATM I just have non triggered fillers. :( Can anybody throw some ideas? Here are the heroes. There are 3 5 level spells, one 3 level spell, and 2 2 level spells. In order, regular, ultimate, special (level 10 and 20). 1) Elementalist- Uses 4 elements: fire, earth, air, water/ice Skill 1- Fire spell done. Skill 2- Chains of Ice done. Skill 3- Wind Wall done. Ultimate- Earth spell done. Special Ability- Combo elements skill done. 2) Assassin- already done. Skill 1- Skill already done. Skill 2- Skill already done. Skill 3- Skill already done. Ultimate- Skill already done. Special Ability- Skill already done. 3) Cleric- Uses divine power to smite foes and heal allies. Skill 1- Heal-type skill done. Skill 2- Breath of the Gods. Check replies to DL it. Skill 3- Hand of God done Check replies to DL it. Ultimate- Vengeance of the Gods. Special Ability- Word of the Gods. Check replies to DL it. 4) Mage Hunter- Solely geared to negate casters. Skill 1- chain mana burn Skill 2- area effect anti magic shell Skill 3- Aura of Confusement Ultimate- silence ward. Special Ability- Abolish Mana 5) Ranger- High damage, stealthy archer. Skills should be geared towards nature. Skill 1- AE root done. Skill 2- Wrath of the Earth done. Skill 3- Call of the Wild done Ultimate- Skill Needed Special Ability- Hunt done. 6) Shaman- Uses herbal and voodoo knowledge to change stuff about foes and friends alike. Probably should have wards and also needs a heal.. but I cant think of anything interesting. Skill 1- chain hex done. Skill 2- Infuriating Ward Skill 3- Siphon Life (group hug by dakkon) Ultimate- Bulk Up done. Special Ability- Poison Cloud done. 7) Dreamwalker- Very low survibility, very versatile, very damaging if at a range. I'm thinking skills that put the target to sleep for x seconds then do damage or something like that. Like Nightmare hehe. Skill 1- Dreamform done. Skill 2- Mind Burst done. Skill 3- Essence Steal done. Ultimate- AE Sleep done. Special Ability-Trick of the Mind done. 8) Sorcerer of Chaos- He is intended to just be a pure damage mage, basically the elementalist's evil counterpart. I'm thinking about giving him chain finger of pain. Skill 1- Bolt of Chaos (chain finger of pain) Skill 2- Mark of Chaos done Skill 3- Distort Reality done. Ultimate- Chaotic Grasp Special Ability- Hellfire done. 9) Frost Guardian- Icy death. Skill 1- Freezing Trails Skill 2- Vortex of Ice Skill 3- Frozen Orb Ultimate- Ice Storm Special Ability-Skill Needed 10) Stormcaller- Uses all lightning skills. Mainly aimed towards damage, but also needs some utility. I'm out of ideas. =/ Skill 1- Fury of Lightning (bolts strike and create thunder claps) Skill 2- Lightning Strike (fires a charged particle that purges and damages the target.) Skill 3- Lightning Shield (shoots lightning @ units attacking the unit with the shield on it) Ultimate- Storm Lightning tornadoes etc Special Ability- Thunderstorm. Check replies to DL it. 11) Unholy Master- Deals with corruption and death. Skill 1- Orb of Essence returning death coil Skill 2- Souleater armor done. Skill 3- Store Lifeforce Ultimate- Feign Death done. Special Ability- Skill done. 12) Necromancer- He becomes invulnerable when he summons a pet, he becomes invulnerable and the pet is ordered by triggers to follow him. He needs some deathy stuff. :) Skill 1- Summon pet Skill 2- Enhance Necroservant Skill 3- Skeletal Regrowth aura Ultimate- Bone Prison Special Ability-Absorb the Dead I'm out of ideas. :bgrun: So, post your ideas if you have any. in my map i have 21 heroes that need changing 8 or Fully done ill post u that up when im not in school and u can see some of them skills |

edit your post and actually give a brief description of all the skills you already have. It's difficult to think up ideas for you knowing they might have already been done :bgrun: then i'll give u some ideas :D |

Give the elementalist or stormcaller a stampede-based ability with a smaller radius and damage. Change the thunder lizards to whirlwinds (the DotC type). The resulting spell looks pretty fly. Another kinky little spell to give the stormcaller would be a hero version of Cyclone. Just cause. Give the necromancer a passive ability that improves the stats of his summoned pets. Also give him a second pet spawn skill that can raise skells from corpses. Always fun. |

At Higher Levels, the 'chain' part becomes literal in more ways than one, because the effect jumps over to the nearest unit, then the nearest two, three, etc. (think chain lightning)) Skill 3- Air spell: Hurricane (Think Diablo2's Druid skill, where he is envelopped by a mass of swirling winds. This follows him wherever he walks, damaging and chiulling units and heroes around him.) (I made this once, or at least, partially. Try make it a summon unit ability, use the Tornado of the Naga Seawitch as a model, then lower it into the ground with "unit height" as a negative so only the top of the tornado is visible.) Cleric: Skill 2- Breath of God (low mana cost, low cooldown. Pushes enemies and heroes away from the caster, doing no damage. Area of effect and distance shoved away should increase per level) Skill 3- Hand of God (One unit (non-hero) is targetted and suffers massive damage. A wide area around him is stunned and damaged. (Think a targetted War Stomp) (As if an invisible hand rammed down into an area)) Special Ability- Word of God (Change a unit into a powerful Angel Avatar. After a while, it changes back to it's normal form and player owner.) Mage Hunter: Skill 3- Confusement Aura (Passive Skill, causing confusement. Lowers mana regeneration, or armor. It can also use the Mana Flare string, like the Inquisitor from ToB fame.) Special Ability: Magus Internum (Think Starfall, only it rains down green orbs of negative energy, burning down mana as well as health with each hit. As this happens, a collumn of harming Feedback energy should envelop the caster.) Ranger: Skill 2- Poison Arrow (Just use the Shadow Strike ability, but change the Shadow Strike graphic to a poison arrow (Gnoll Warden Archer). It may not be the secksay trigger spell you're looking for, but it's clean, effective, and nature-orientated.) Skill 3- Wrath of the Earth (Passive Skill. With each level, the chance that an arrow impact causes an earthquake increases.) Ultimate- Nighture (Summons a giant owl called "Nighture". The Ranger can mount this owl, making her aerial. (Will take some Hippogryph Rider model editing) While unmounted, the Owl can damage with a ranged attack, and devour units) Special Ability- Protector of the Forest Summons an Owlbear. When killed, all enemy units surrounding the Owlbear get lvl 1, lvl3 Entangled. Shaman: Skill 2- Voodoo Doll. (Summons a penguin. Use the Serpent Ward as a base. Give it a Taunt skill which is constantly casted at intervals automatically, and a Spiked Shell stat so 50/75/100% of the enemy attack is returned. Uncheck "ward" at unit specifics so it can use skills.) Skill 3- Bulk Up (Positive Buff. Increases a friendly unit's size, attack points, hit points, and gives it spell immunity for a small period of time. Should be able to auto-cast.) Ultimate- Soul Chains. (Cast on friendly hero. If it's killed during the duration of this 'buff', it is revived with half of it's hitpoints intact.) Special Ability- Create Potion (Creates either a Health, Mana, Rejuvination, Speed, or Fake potion. Long cooldown.) Dreamwalker: Skill 2- Mind Burst (Reaching into the dreams and thoughts of the enemy, the Dreamwalker tears into the psychological fabric of his enemy. Does high damage and Silences them from using spells for a while.) Skill 3- Embodify Dream (Random Effect. It either embodifies the Nightmare of a targeted enemy, causing it to run away in fear. Or it embodifies the dream of the targeted enemy, causing it to stand still for a while, even when attacked. Embodified Nightmare should be a Shade, Embodified Dream should be a Wisp.) Ultimate- Inconsciousness (Targets units only. It causes them to sleep and not wake up (even when attacked) for an excruciatingly long period of time. If targetted on a hero, an animation is played where you see a big question-mark pop up above the enemy hero's head.) Special Ability- Dream Shape (Ethereal/Coorporeal form) Sorcerer of Chaos: Skill 1- Reality Bend (Distorts reality in an area of effect, causing random things to happen. Either debuffing enemies or hexxing them, or turning them into dragons for a certain amount of time. Make it very random...) Skill 2: Mark of Chaos (Targets a point on the ground, slowwing enemies in that area and causing excruciating pain as their bodies are torn apart by ravenous energies. Much blood animation on harmed units!) Skill 3: Chain Pain (Chain Finger of Pain, what you said. Excellent direct damage spell.) Ultimate- Chaos World (Turns the sky dark (eclipse) for 5 seconds as ALL ENEMIES ON THE MAP suffer 60/90/120 damage. Long cooldown, mana cost decreases per level as well.) Special Ability- Space-time Tear (Target a specific point on the ground, where the Sorcerer moves to at amazing speeds. All enemies between his point of leaving and arriving are harmed as he tears through them.) Plaguemaster: Skill 2- Pestilence (Causes a cloud of disease to encircle the Plaguemaster for a specific amount of time, in a large radius. All units touching the cloud are badly poisoned. Can be cast multiple times to create multiple encircling clouds, stacking damage. Low Damage, High SLOW.) Skill 3- Poison Explosion (Like Diablo2's Necromancer, causes a poison explosion on a corpse. High damage, no slow poison.) Special Ability- Insanity (Passive Skill. Those who work poisons, also poison their minds. Insanity causes the Plaguemaster's attacks to be faster, and stronger. Increases Attack Points and Attack Speed.) Stormcaller: Skill 3- Elektrone Shield (Once cast on self or friend, it blocks an enemy offensive spell once. Per level, it blocks 1 more time.) Special Ability- Bolt Lightning. (Create a Bolt of Lightning that moves along wherever the Stormcaller goes, but can't be selected or attacked. It has a timer, and disappears after a while. It continually Purges enemy units and heroes around the Stormcaller.) Unholy Master: Skill 3- Souleater Armor (Passive Skill. When attacked, the attacker loses a part of it's mana.) Ultimate- Corrupt. (Target an enemy unit, causing it to take damage until it's death. When it dies, it creates a massive aoe explosion.) Special Ability- Defile (Defiles an area with sickening rotting soil. It slowly diminishes, yet all enemy units walking on it slowly drain from life.) Necromancer: Skill 2- Bone Wall (Again, try this classic from D2. A wall of bone appears where the User clicks, holds his mousebutton down, and moves his cursor over the map. The wall of bone should have a slight "return damage when attacked" skill.) Skill 3- Raise Skeletons (Raises the skeletons of corpses in an area of effect around the Necromancer. If no corpses are there, a number of graves appear from the ground. When cast a second time, the skeletons appear from the graves.) Special Ability- Reanimate. I'll think of a way to do it. Maybe just make it a dummy skill and have a level integer. If dummypetupgrade skill = 1 then add +10 item bonus and +1 armor bonus to necro pet.. Something like that maybe? Is that what you had in mind? Grey archon.. Wow! I especially like the dreamwalker's Mind Burst. Getting started on everybody's ideas now... thanks a lot for the ideas guys. |

Necro pets: level 1- zombie level 2- ghoul level 3- skeletal warrior level 4- skeletal grunt level 5- large skeletal grunt They're summoned using triggers so it shouldnt be very hard to have a + item bonus etc thing attached to a passive skill. |
