Im pretty sure that you can only have team color where the MDL says team color can be. So if u slightly alpha a rune out on the back of someones cape it slightly adds a tint of team color there. And the more %alphad the more solid teamcolor. I dont beleive there is a set % alpha to make team color appear. only make it mor opaque and less opaque.

OK, it´s OK. :D Usually the Mac has complex ways to do simple things.

Example: in Diablo 2, in PC, you just select your shortkey to take a screenshot. On Mac you need to press 4 keys simultaneously.

Boy, this is one of the most useful threads out there. Thanks!

FFoeNikz: Thanks. Glad I can help.

biSMARK102: Are you having a problem or just checking? Do you mean the the skin is transparent? Keep in mind some parts can't be alphaed out. I've never done alpha work in Photoshop so I am just going off what I hear. I should probably try it though :)

Trip92: Open the botom layer image. Next make a new layer and paste the second image into it. I can't rember but pasting might make its own layer in which case delete the layer with out anything in it. Now just lower the top layer's opacity (in the layers palette) until it looks how you want it. Let me know if you have problems.

Look for my response to bisMARCK102. It lists the steps you need to take. The cloning has to do with team color but has been proven incorrect so just ignore it.

For PSP: If you are editing a skin that already has an alpha channel then follow this. On the tool bar do these things in order
1. Masks>Load From Alpha Channel>Alpha 1
2. Masks>View Mask
3. Masks>Edit.
4. Now use black to add the alphaed areas and white to remove them and show the skin. If you use a grey then the areas will be transparent.
5.When you are done alphaing: Masks>Save to Alpha Channel>Alpha 1.
Agree when it asks if you want to replace it.

I really need help with Alpha Channels in PSP8. My skin will NOT show up in the editor and i was told it was because i had no alpha channels. Perhaps you could help?

I REALLY need help. THe only skin i have done that has worked is off of an infernal model. As you probably know, infernals have no team colors. Anything else i try refuses to appear in the world editor (im importing through the import manager in ft) can you offer any help?
