you might want to look at my Custom Hero System. I'm not quite sure if it fits exactly, as it is not a game so much as a bunch of triggers used to precipitate a, to the best of my knowledge, previously unseen effect. If you want it, you can either tell me here, and I'll post it or just download it from it's thread. For those who do not know, this system allows you to select a Hero appearance and the Hero's abilities in game, allowing you to select whatever abilities suit your taste. |

I've made something similair in the past. Just not as non-buggy as yours. I've fixed my system however. |

Ah, yes, but you haven't released it (As in open-source) yet, so I can't have a look at it. But yes I does qualify, I guess... But I haven't heard from my boss (Proudclod) for quite some time now, so I have no idea what's going on. Anyway, I'll tell you what I think of it, Shimrra, once I've had a look ;). In my opinion Blizzard TD is not perfect, I hate those TD where you can't make mazes and the triggers are a complete mess. I would use conditions to know if a unit has an ability instead of making a trigger for every unit type, that's just my opinion so. |

Aah, I've got something pretty similar to what shimra has: It's an in-game custom-hero map; You can select 6abilities (or less or more if I had made it that way) at the start and after you have chosen you get a hero that can learn the chosen abilities in an almost exactly similar way to the regular learn abilities method. Ow and.. press esc to level up;) Hope you check it out, Remy. |

I'll check both of those out (+ the AOS map thingy up top). I hope at least one of them are good ;). Regards Dead-Inside |

That is the best work around for that issue, I really liked it, it is way better than Shimrra's, using abilities is a great idea. Althought It will be better if you base the hero abilities ability from Replenish, that is a worthless ability with a lot of uses, you can even make the button autocast when the hero has skill points, and a lot of people will like to use windwalk for their heroes-. After making that change , could you please post that in the repository? |

Thankyou for your replenish as dummy ability tip vexorian:) I'll try to make some time and finish my customhero map to add it in the repository, maybe I'll even add an implemention explanation;) I'm off, Remy. |

Were all these other custom Hero systems around before and I just missed them, or did people just start posting them? |
