NEED info about TABLETS...

I'm going to order a Wacom Graphire3 6x8 today or tomorrow.... $180 US.... sheesh they are not cheap, thank goodness I still live with parents and have a job! One nice thing about being young.... (18 yrs)

I would really like to invest in a tablet and have been looking at a lot of them lately.

You probably have never seen anything drawn by me and the reason is because Im not that good

I figure that If I buy a tablet, I will have to learn to get better so that I don't waste my funny. It may sound stupid to you, it may sound stupid to me, but hey, it works

Ill probably get a wacom 4x5 or just a little bigger, depending on the prices when I actually decide to buy one

edit: can anyone explain the difference between the intuous and the graphire? The intuous is a lot more expensive and is there a quick reason why?

STURM: Intuos2 has twice the pressure sensitivity.

but graphire has a cooler name! :D

i was goign to buy 1 but then again i suk already now i can just suck with a wacom so i didnt decided to get better then wacom

hm... i guess twice the pressure would account for twice the price. I also saw some buttons at the top of the pad that the graphire doesnt have.

oh and by the way I meant "money" by "funny". I don't know what the hell I was thinking

How big is it? How much presure sensativity?

its too small and it has no pressure sensitivity... cheapass parents...
