I edit the .tga directly, and they are.. 512x256px (bottom left) 512x256px (bottom right) 512x512px (top left) 512x512px (top right) So it should be 1024 x 768 |

well, I know that normally the sizes are like that. But if you use the WEU Enhancer to import the loading screen you need nothing else but a 1024 x 768 tga, jpg or bmp. The enhancer will automatically split it in the 4 parts and import them into the map. And it also supports the other sizes mentioned above (512 x 512 ...) |

Few questions and suggestions.. 1) When will it be out? 2) Does the loading screen maker has quality control for the .TGA files? Cause half of my screens get to about 1 MB 3) Is there some kind of advanced AI control system this time? I have been using AMAI 2.0 Developer edition, but it is very tedious to run PERL crap over and over again (not very fond of programming :D) 4) When will it be out? 5) Any chances of me seeing the Beta editor :D |

I heard the hero save system only saves to Level 140 is this true? If so is there a way I can increase the cap? o_O |

Oh yes and also in the hero save system great job but how do I make the password disappear once it is generated? Since the players in my RPG may want to save one of their characters and repick another they would be pretty pissed seeing the password for all of the game. Is there a command I can use to make it disappear? Thanks ^_^ |

@desmasic: 1) the next version won't be finished that soon. That's because my harddisk had a headcrash. I had backups for the most parts of the source codes, but some important parts will have to be rewritten 2) well, you can control the quality simply by the size of the loading screen pic. If you use a 256 x 256 pic it will be about 120 kb, if you use 512 x 512 it'll be about 300 kb.... Additionally your the pics are automatically converted to blp pics (which use jpg compression) 3) Really, this would be nice and I would be able to do that. But first I have to finish all the other stuff and this will take some time ... 5) There will be a closed beta test again and you can participate if you like. This won't happen within the next 2 months I guess @ deathperception: 1) I personally think that 140 level cap is crap (did never test it but I can't see a reason why it shouldn't work) 2) for the other question see my reply to your thread |

I dont knwo how to trigger, but i downloaded WEU because i was told you could have unlimated tile sets and a 480 by 480 map. I still cant get more than 12 texture spacs, so its not unlimated, and its not even 16. And when i try to make a 480 by 480 map it always makes a 480 by 128 map, what do i do? :( |

Well you are only able to have 16 I think (which is still alot more than the normal WE) Maybe you should remove some of the tiles that you are not going to use from the base set? Maybe remove the cliff tiles? (Maps look better when you don't use cliffs, if you use 90 degree terrain with pathing blockers and just use the rock terrain or one like it.) |

One request: Ability to get any unit stat from a unit and retrieve it as string/integer/real depending on value. It'd help immensely. |
