do notice the part on the calf is kinda blurry like...i don't know what it is, but it could be the point of view...just look at the lighter part

I dk whats up with your model when I import the .3ds its messed up when I import the .obj the polies are messed.

im not sure, but if ur using milkshape, it could be the program, it always happens to increase the polys

I use 3ds max what do you use tell me everything that you can export as check to see if you can export as autocad dxf those are usually very stable formats. If not and your using lightwave I will try to find a lightwave importer

about 1700 which in orin's and prodcloud's view would be waaaayyyyyy to high and would cause the game to crash and explode your computer, but in actuality 1700 is fine and will run very smoothly in-game and on bnet.

I forgot to add the panderan hero is 1100 so imagine having in a normal ladder game lets say all players chose the panda thats 8 pandas 1100 each add in doodads other units other heros etc. creeps and the game runs smoothly except for the guy on 28k modem.

yeah but still, i expected the 555 polys or something to be of good quality...now it always has to end up like this...
ARRRGHHH, y do i have to get stuck being a poor sh*t like i am and not be able to afford 3dsmax???Y?!?!

anyways,(controls his anger) u think u can help fix the messed up spots a little and animate it?

Well to tell you the truth I hope not to many people see this but majority of the people who use 3dsmax use it illegally including myself but I hope to get a students licesense soon, about the problems I have tried everything from a vertex weld to tesselate which only makes more polies to go in and fix it would be useless. To make a suggestion get milkshape 3d I don't have it don't plan to since I have 3ds max but maybe you can export out of there better. I hear its free for like a 30 day trial. So there is nothing to lose.

I visited milkshape homepage and they have tons and tons of export formats I am sure one of them is bound to work.
