They are mods on the new file section as well. Although there is not much to do. The file section is mostly self maintaining. All left to be done is updating the tools section and change the owner of a resource (or delete it) if someone uploads a thing he havent made. |

Is there also going to be a section for mods/total conversions/new races, besides the 'nature's call' thing? Oh, and, as I mentioned on the wc3sear.ch site, to which no reply has yet been given; it's kinda ... unpractical that model-uploads allow for mdx (and blp) files only. If maps where allowed, one could add icons, spells (and spell-models), and set all ability-stats etc (instead of having to add such info in a txt for the downloader to re-implement, or just have him figure out himself how to properly set movement-speed to match movement-animation, attack backswing, etc), and sounds. Right now, all of these require different sections (except for sounds, for which there is no section), unless one would use the spell-section (which does allow for maps to be uploaded) to post models.. but that probably isn't what it's for, now is it? Making a good (playable) model takes quite some effort.. posting it should not take even more, right? Also, is this change of site temporarily, or permanent? |

If you guys still want to download or see the original wc3capaigns.com files, go to http://www.wc3campaigns.com/files.php? |

I have decided no future downloads will be place on the site by me until the 'tutorial' on unprotecting maps is removed, the website parser-script is made optional, and that site stops having so many quirks. |

be careful guys, complaining on this thread drops your rep points by about 10 |

So I noticed. Someone's afraid of critism, apparently. Just for that, I will NEVER post another file for download on the site, period. |

I doubt anyone cares if you don't post files on the site, but you'll be doing us all a favor by thinning out the crappy maps up for download. |

Some of the maps and campaigns that you could find at the "old site". Maps like Battle of Pelenor fields, Fall of the lion etc. are gone..... Where did they go? o_O |

I'm a triggerer and spellmaker, ignorant one. I don't spam maps, though I wouldn't put that past you. WC3C Already lost a large number of posters, some with a lot of talent. Well, I may not rank with them, but too bad for you assholes. |

Well, well. You call someone ignorant for questioning your map-making ability, then you go and do the same thing. Priceless. |

I personally think its a waste of time going to another website to download stuff. It makes life very hard for all the members that work so hard to make their campaigns and then they have to go post it on another website. You should change this and make it back to the old way. Many people disapprove of this so I suggest you change it before other people start leaving the website. |

Considering I don't make maps, your point is completely void. I might think your opinion was worth a damn, but I've yet to see *anything* good come from you. |
