Toxic, it's something that Draco released... think it's in the tutorial section. It makes it possible to raise terrain like that. Thou I've raised the terrain to maximum, dunno how to raise the maximum, but whatever.

Oh, btw, right now, I only have 4 models really to fill up the city with - the dalaran tower (from the dalaran wall pack), the two dalarn building-models and dalaran violet citadel, which I doubt I'll use since it has weird crystals...
that makes it 3. Any ideas where I can get models for buildings in the city?

For buildings in the city, you could use normal citybuildings just skin them to be white and grayish.

Here is an idea someone can create. Make a pyramid or a lighthouse using doodads. The only things I can think of to do this is use the Dalaran Wall end to make the base of the lighthouse and use some sort of light. The pyramid would probably be a bunch of some kind of block doodad. I really wanna see someone create these because it would be really cool looking and I have no idea how to do it. It would probably really useful in various maps.

Meeeh... I don't think I'll finish my Minas Tirith... it seems as the only way to get nice buildings is to skin them and... well, I'm to lazy. And suck at skinning.
If anyone else's interested in the terrain I've done so far, PM me and I can mail it or whatever...

Thou, on the other hand, if someone'd skin them for me... well, that might be another story... :8

ill recouler them (its about all i can do). do you want the compleatly black and white, like marble, or to have a slighty cream tint like mortar?

Ah! Kind people, so nice...

Heh... I know how to recolor them, but I'm to lazy... :8 well, sorry, that's the way I am...

Well, they should be kinda... not completely white, but not far from it. Doors and windows and such are to remain black/dark, other areas should be lightened up. So... maybe it's the mortar-alternative...
Btw, the ordinary city buildings (they're also used as units, you know which I mean - red, green and blue thingies) aren't really... nice... it's the smaller thingies I want, and also the hidden buildings... if you know which ones I mean...

Btw, if you've got time on your hands, there's a few other things I'd like...
1) Dalaran Violet Citadel - without the crystals and that stick between them
2) Weeell... you know the dalaran Building, variation 1? Well, that, um, cupole looks pretty neat, (am I speaking english now or...?) I was wondering if maybe you could alpha out the tower at it's side... but I still want to use the tower...
3) Now when I'm at it with impossible (or hard) things (2), would it maybe be possible to seperate the cupole under the Dalaran Violet Citadel, too?
For 2 and 3 you'll maybe have to extract the models from the MPQ, and then import it, and then import the skin, alphaed, and set it as the imported model's skin... I dunno, I'm no expert, maybe there's an easier way, but if you know how to do that, please, do...

meeeh! Do as you want, tell me when you're done. And thx for, eh, doing it!
(I'll PM Mantis, too... maybe he knows more about skinning than you (or I :\ ) do... :8

Errrr...This might be off topic, but...I NEED HELP! :( I'm making a castle, but i needed to switch over to UMSWE to make a moat. When I switched editors and loaded my map, all the doodads had been supersized! And now I cant change them back to normal. HELP! :<

Ditto. Instead of e-mailing it or whatever just release it here as an attachment so we can download it.

After taking a little break from New Dalaran I wanted to try out The Temple of the Sun. I saw this picture from Omnitek and I wanted to recreate it in the WE, but the problem I have is trying to find out what to use for those middle circles, the bridges, maybe those poles and the circle water pond thingy, that white ramp, and that big yellow dome.

Ok well they aren't going to let me post it here so I will just link to it and hopefully that will be ok. Here

I have a squared column model that I don't remember where I found it but I can't get it to work in the map. I imported it and made a doodad with that model but it doesn't show up. I saved the map and restarted it, but it still doesn't work. I don't think the model has a skin and maybe that is why. Anyone know how I can get it to work? Or some way to unwrap it and make a skin for it?

Ive run into a problem with the castle im working on for this compo. :< Ive made the drawbridge out of the table doodad, but can't find a suitable chain for it. :o I'm open for any suggestions.

P.S: I can't post a picture of it until I get home.

I don't think there is a chain doodad. The only thing I can think of is the cage doodad. Not all drawbridges need to have chains. I remember an unique drawbridge from some old castle that used a fulcrum to balance the drawbridge like a teeter totter and a log to prop it. When they removed the log the drawbrige wood lean and fall. The fulcrum and log were attached to the castle side of the moat with poles or something.
