No longer. Let me try to find the site where I saw that the Forsaken had become completely separated (I promise I'm not making the site up). But it was a WoW site where they gave an explanation of that. The Lich King lost his powers by the end of RoC. Sylvannas and many other undead were then freed from his will and now had a mind of their own. Therefore many mind controlled generals (Lichs, Death Knights, Dark Rangers, Necromancers) were freed. The thing is, as long as there are Necromancers, the Undead lives on. It is not the Lich King who makes them 'live'. It was he who mind controlled humans and made them become Necromancers. If ALL Necromancers die. Then ALL Undead would die. Of that, there is no doubt. BUT if the Lich King dies, ALL mind controlled creatures will be free and therefore be able to use their Necromantic powers as they will. All the Lich King did was to teach them, set the roots and hold them together. Now they can do what they want with their powers. |

Yeah, I know this site. NOTE: Stop telling me Illidan is alive, I KNOW!! (that wasn't directed to you Blizz). I hope to be finished with the Azeroth tileset very soon. Map one is like 80% terrained. Some triggers are done but still a lot to do. Wolverine is working on a brilliant skin for the Outlander's mounted units. I hope I can show it you guys soon. If all goes well, it should be here tomorrow. FlamesforZul... whats the full name again? Anyways, Flames is working on some models for the campaign. He's a fast worker, should be ready soon. |

So far, only one person has answered. I ask again: How should the campaign be? -Warcraft III style? -Warcraft II style? |
| 06-24-2004, 06:02 PM | #38 |
i want a wc III style because you get more excited then (at least i be)* like ohh wonder what happends on the night elf bla bla...... |
| 06-24-2004, 06:55 PM | #39 |
It should definatly be wc3 style. I would think that illidan would be alive considering that he cosumed the magic of the skull of guldan so the demonic influence would probly keep him alive. |

I don't recall reading anywhere that Gul'Dan was immortal... or as a matter or fact that the one who consumed the Skull of Gul'Dan would benefit from immortality. |

Hm, the Warcraft II option sounds nice to me. I would like to lead my Outlanders to a total and complete victory...if your story allows it, that is. ;) |

I'm still not sure wether the warcraft II option would lead you to complete victory. Or if it will follow one plot, each seen from a different point of view depending on what race you choose. |

Well, that's up to you. I basically said that because the Outlanders seem *to me at least* to be the most interesting of the three factions in Warcraft IV. ;) And I'm not a really great fan of the Alliance, but that's OT. Well, the WC III style campaign does have its advantages, too, such as creating a more intricate plot that spans beyond one campaign, maybe with some nice sub-plots and stuff. One big story doesn't sound too bad... |

I love the Outlanders too. At first it was going to be only Horde and Alliance. But then I thougth that it would be boring if I went back to the 'evil orcs' and 'noble humans' type of games. So I added the Outlanders to add some spice to the story. |

Blood elves are just one of my favorite races created, so im hoping to see some cool blood elf units. (especially that spellbreaker) Speaking of the spellbreaker, i have a good idea for the skin. Maybe you could skin him to look like the breaker on the campaign glue screen? Maybe also put some particle emmiters in his eyes so the glow like the shadow hunters except with a green tint. (to indicate infernal magics) |
