I liked most of those names... but none of them began with an "R" ... so I made no comment...

The project is creation of our own Fantasy world... like that of D&D and other roleplaying scenarios.

yes best hosting place ever saw. Make the map bigger and we should start thinking about the general region names unless the current one are good.

Maybe person whos race lives in place/region should give it a name?

As for names, just don't make em overly complicated 12 syllable words.

An idea, I think I'll just make up some general names, for like the common language spoken by everyone, and then you guys can make up names for those in your own language for your races.

EDIT I'm now enlarging the map, and I'll be adding some more continents that will correspond better to the regions, like the north and south will be colder and the middle will be the warm areas etc. I also made a nice custom brush that gives a good foresty feeling so the trees are not a problem anymore.

You knoww, just though about it... We will have a world map with universal names, but it would be cool if every race had its own map with terrain they know named by them... just some regional stuff. Probably too time consuming and chaotic to make it, but anyway :p

And then, we could release it as a RPG game!! :o

I think we should use a general name for oceans and seas and then post the map and font... so that race teams can update the map and then give it to other to update it...

Ok, this thing is fucking huge. 3000 something by 2000 something. I dunno. But I like it big. The level of detail gets lost if it was any smaller.



The north and south poles aren't shown. This would be like, the middle latitudes, from tropical to temperate climates. A few areas like that little island in the top left would be pretty cold though. Barren and windy is what I thought it would be like there. The western continent would be kinda like North America, the peninsula in the southern region of the continent would be desert. The northern region of the South western continent would be more tropical, Amazon-ish, while the south is more South American. The Eastern continent would be like Europe and Russia and the South eastern region of the continent would be like Africa, jungle/savannah.

I'm still gonna add at least one more mid sized continent so there'll be plenty of room. I might also make seperate maps for the extreme north and south.
