You must have everything in the SpellEditor folder in the Warcraft 3 directory (including the spelldatanames.txt file...)

I havent read all of the replies so i dont know if this has been pointed out before but lvl 2 duration is called lvl 2 cooldown time. Apart from that it seems quite good.

You cannot yet. For now you can only change just a few options. This is the beta.

None of you are reading the posts, are you? The cooldown lvl2 is was fixed and put up in a post on this topic. And none of you seem to read the read me file with this either, because you wouldnt have half of the problems your having if you did. And you can change the descriptions, but you have to do that manually through the .txt files. To get those just go to the "saying what i know" post and dl them at the bottom of the first post. I guess whoever said that newbs will come in here and start rigging up spells was right.

yes and also to windows XP users or anyone else who gets the bug that it says excle cannot read soem of the cells, dont worry, i have testsed it and it doesnt affect the game in any adverse way, it will still owrk

Yeah, those last few 'cells' are just a few NULL bytes at the end of the program, after the 'E', which ends the slk...

To those who's programs crash when you edit a spell, read the second or third post...
