He talks about war3 mdl importer.
We solved the Hermite rotation problems, so, finish the script'll take only few weeks.
About "cut/fragmentation thing", I said "cut" because we have to "cut" the geosets into differents parts according to VertexGroup and Matrices (mdl).

Concerning the m2 importer, it will not be an "importer" but a converter into war3 mdl format, that can be imported with the other script (maybe a 2 in 1 script).

will this converter unlike other previous ones, be able to be converted by yogbul's and viewed by wc3 viewer?

I think yes. I use Yogbul's coverter to test my mdl files ; it must work with a viewer.

awesome, but what of WoW particle emitters i would imagine they are far advanced... and are you working on a .blp converter? i would think that would be quite a bit easier

Yeah, I still have a model converter for beta models made by DaishiofDeath, but it's useless on m2 models that the retail uses. I also have "Technetium's BLP2 to TGA converter", which can convert all retail blps to tga with correct colors and all. Just do a search in Google, I'm sure you can find it.

just one question about the importer, will you make it import in skin modifier, desfragmented or both? just cause dex uses skin so i don't know if it would be mind?
