Hey all ! I'm actually doing an MDL Importer. Only the Statue mode is finished yet, but i hope that the 2 other modes will be finished soon. The statue mode imports the materials, camera, collision shapes, lights and the structure by geosets. You can find the installer here ! ![]() |

Hi everybody ! The Import Tool wasn't cancelled, on the contrary, it is almost finished ;) That tool will be able to import the Warcraft3 models in 3dsMax (working on the 5, 4.2 doesn't work), the import options are : Not finished : - Animations (some works, others not ...) - Ribbon Emitter - Textures Animations Some others modding tools will be released : - Event Object Editor : contain lists of all MDL Events (ubersplats, footprints, etc ...) (sounds not listed yet ^^) - Animation-Visibility Editor : to quickly create NoteTrack Keys and add visibility tracks on meshs ![]() ![]() |

I think the script will work with last versions, but art tools aren't compatible with 3dsmax6 and upper. :\ |

No the script don't need the art tools, but you'll need it to export the model. Blizzard named it ParticlesEmitter2 because the 1-type exists, the emitter that create feathers or the flesh when gryphon and wyvern die. |
