Hi!

Long time reader, first time poster here (i've read from page one to here all tonight, it was about 12:30 when I started).

On to the post! I will try not to make this too long, just more clutter on your forum. I have noticed only a few post about beta testers, one read something like "we will see about that when we get there". I just want to plant in your thoughts how important beta testers are, and how helpful they can be. If you have illiterate or uninformed beta testers testing your map, than they will hurt you more than help you. Also if you release a map with many spelling errors, and a good amount of glitches, then you will simply be screaming to the players that this campaign was made by normal people that makes mistakes... YOU DON'T WANT THIS! You want to sweep the player off his\her feet and make them think and feel that this campaign was made by the professionals. Beta testers are the ones that make sure your storyline matches, your spelling is dead-on, your maps are glitch free, your dialogue is understandable, and that your gameplay rocks!

What I mean by all this is: When you get around to deciding if the team will beta test, or if you will accept outside beta testers, I would like to be considered. I helped beta test Kaggs RPG way back in the day and have a good amount of knowledge with everything included with the original worldeditor. Throughtout highschool I got few Bs in english (almost all As), to prove my worth as a spell checker.

Don't beat around the bush please, simply reject or accept me. I wouldn't even ask for my name to be on the project, only that my input be taken to heart. It would also give me the opportunity to play the campaign before the general public ^_^ .

Thank you for your time, and sorry for the overwhelmingly long post.

Welcome here then MadBagOfCows... or Cowy, since that's shorter. Anyway, to come to your point...

As I know, and I know a lot... or so I hope, is this campaign still far from the testing fase. Anyway, what you said in your post, is exactly true. And I couldn't agree more with you.

Glad to see someone good in english too. I was pronounced as the best of english of my school when I graduated. I ended up with an A (or a 10) at the end of my school years. And that's only since recently. Nice to see someone else up for that as well ;)

Anyway, since the project isn't even close to the testing fase, they can't either reject OR accept you. So, they're probably still stuck with that.

Anyway, I'm highly impressed you took the time to read from the start. Not too many people who do that. Especially if they have the usual speed of reading, I learned from my brother how to read faster, and by now I outread my english teacher... err...ex-teacher, I did graduate after all :P. Anyway, I'm glad to see more and more people interested in the project, even though I'm not a member, I'm very happy with it ;)

Anyway, don't worry about your lenght of the post since it isn't even close near my longest post. Not even 1/50th of it. (For sure!) When you reach the post size of this size: 'http://www.wc3campaigns.com/showthread.php?t=60927' (look at my second post in the thread) then I'd say that you've written much. If you didn't write as much as that, don't worry about writing much ;):P (The post that I've linked to, still isn't too close in comparasation with my longest post)

Thank you for your time

haha, dont worry. I wont let this project stand up if theres a single spelling or continuity error. Having a perfectionist on the team is both good and bad.

It is good for the people who will play it but it might be annoying for other people Pheonix ;) Since my brother is a grammar nazi I became afraid of making grammar mistakes, I try to avoid them :)
But in this case it is a good thing.

i will probably miss gameplay bugs, but i sware if i find a single spelling, grammer or "sentance" error or improvement, i'll start jumping up and down and screaming till it gets fixed :P

Always when I'm not around you do something fun :P

Anyways. I hate spelling mistakes, and sorry to say, but the website is FULL of them.. And I'm 'half' perfectionist so it's 2 and 1/2 now :P
