Well, I've finished making some adjustments to the Legendary Heroes bit. I've merged it in with the proposed story line. So here it is. With the changes made, it will be possible to choose out of 72 possible models. This due to the fact that each race usually has a couple models for each hero class. I'm setting up the variables (with the proper names) so we can store them into the password, There's: Needs: CurrentHeroEXP CurrentHeroStrength CurrentHeroAgility CurrentHeroSpeed CurrentHeroConstitution CurrentHeroWisdom CurrentHeroWeapons (upgrade value, increases attack damage, like steel forged swords) CurrentHeroArmor (upgrade value, increases armor, like leather armor) Item Slot 1 Item Slot 2 Item Slot 3 Item Slot 4 Item Slot 5 Item Slot 6 (Possibly spells aswell, depends if we do it custom or not) Don't Needs: Hero Level Hero HP Hero MP That's all we need for storing it, we don't need to store the hero level because I have a trigger that checks your EXP, then checks the CAP of the next level exp, and if it's larger it will refresh, and will continue to loop until it is correct. |

Dakan keeps coming online, but he doesn't post anything..... I'll just post the PM here. pm1 You must be missing the obvious here, first of all, the lowest stats are 1, so they have to stay there, but with damage and what not, we can still play with base damage, dice etc. Leaving the armor at 2, will put it to 0 in the game (since agility [I think] adds defence, it can also subtract defence if it's low enough) We add an item that adds 1 damage, remove it, they have a plus 1 bonus. For armor it's the same thing. (didnt mean to sound rude, sorry) Quote:

We need 100 to work off of, unless we start stats at minimum of 1 and a max of 95, but limits customizability ALOT. If we do hex, then that increases password length by twice as much since we have to use 2 digits. No matter what we do it's limited to 95 characters for a single digit, and obviously we don't want that. Now if we use HEX, that increases the limit to 255, which in turn is better than double the single digit numbers. I'm assuming you do know and understand HEXADECIMAL values right? I think I can write something up on how to break it up, but how do you want it to work? like a=1 n=F o=10, something like that? Quote:

yea im in the middle of tryin to do like 10 things at the same time while on the phone heh.. I got the PM's from before this time, Last night the college's internet was down from liek midnight to 12 pm this morning, so i worked on the map for a while, got about 1/2 of it drawn now |

My modified tileset is this: LgrsLdrtLgrdYhdgXbtlVstpLrokBdrhLdrgNdrdYblmYsqdYrtlYwmbVcrpVgrt Download the Tiles List from my site in my sig to find out what they all are, but it's 16 tiles, and Dakan I suggest you do the same, use Zepir's and you can import 16 tiles into your map, even ones you normally can't add (cliff tiles), but they do add their own cliffs in the cliff editor thing, but just ignore them, it will only show up 2 extra. |

i been a little busy today fighting the blizzard, we got about 2 feet of snow and its still comming down, i been clearing the paths all day, hvant had time to do much with the mod, but im gonna sit down and work on it now |

Okay, I perfected a little town, with a nice cemetary and doodads set. I don't feel like doing screenshots right now, but I'll tell you it looks really nice. I'll post up some 2mora from my free FTP server for you all. |

1/2 of the frozen desert is now complete... There will be only 1 town away from the main land in this one, the frozen vally part (enclosed in the mountainous area) will have 1 town of friendly orges, the other land will be more open and contain more towns but spread out |

i checked it out, but dont need it for the frozen desert yet. I will probly import most of the cityscape ones for the grass trim, and other floor tiles |

I was wondering also when you finished if possibly you would make a tutorial on your password game cache save hero thing so people can use it also. I figure an awesome map like that will be protected so if you could make tutorials on how you did that it would be awesome =) |
