Hey shut up everybody. You guys see a spamming start a excellent opportunity to get your postcount higher too, so say "Stop spamming".. and then 5 guys say that...
Why don't just say once and continue with the thread. necromandue spammed 1st, that's not good, but anyway it's ok, and then DK told him to stop. Nuladion and ChickenFlight just spammed more, and probably more will do so, getting then this thread closed. So everybody shut up about this and let the main subject go on.

OK, really a waste of time reading your message...a spam takes 0.5 secs to read...so who cares...but yours took 10 seconds...and they are equally useless, so evaluation: A spam is 20 times better than your useless messages.8)

Alright alright, you have a secret lab of DH in your part? I'll probably use it in mine too...I probably don't need very must space for mine just a road with a forest around it, and the secret lab. maybe, I don't even need ANY space at all.

If you use the secret lab, just use Nuladions terrain for it. He took up a large amount of space, and we don't need duplicate areas.

Yeah, it would be kinda strange to have two 'Secret' Laboratories in two different locaions in one map :ggani:

I'm sorry I took that much terrain, but I don't think you could do it with less terrain...... especially not if I added the battle itself :ggani: I like big battles :D
You know Ian, I had some *BIG* Frost Wyrms appear behind Insaniteus with a *LARGE* army of ghouls/skeletons! And DK would call upon the amry of the nature; Many uprooted ancient protecters, arhcers and wardens would come out of the forest to defend their leader!

But if I had made the whole battle scene, you wouldn't have seen the map until next week :ggani: so I didn't do it 8)

Yeah, even a small battle takes a god damn long time to make, a scene I'm working on when Captain Gendan, Thalgorn(human paladin model but he doesn't act like one) and Gorntrag(grom hellscream) must fight against I forget name (demon hunter) and 6 druid of the claws...annoying hard, expecially if you want it to be a controlled fight, (you know like making some guy fighting a bit, move aside and hit a killing blow) Instead of just sending some forces against eachother with a camera on them, and let destiny take its course, Does any1 have any tips on how to make good "controlled" battle scenes?...hey I am a troll witchdocter! It seems like just yesterday I was a dwarf...Oh wait! It was!0_o

Make multiple triggers with different actions for characters to make it realistic.

For instance you could have a trigger for duels between 2 - 3 characters, and then another one for another 2 characters and maybe one for 1 guy that goes around attacking everybody.

Oh and Nuladion, I'll add some more cool stuff in to some of the scenes if you'd like.

Mr.Jig after looking at your map I have a lot of suggestions for you first I will tell you how to improve the mechanics, and then the film content. . .

1. Your camera001 does not work correctly, however I played around with it and fixed it by modifying the map bounds (Scenario/Map Size and Camera Bounds)

2. Your camera movement is boring, when the two surfs talk to each other have the camera change position to view a behind the shoulders looking at the other surf and then switch it when the other talks, remember, you can never have to many cameras.

3. Since Surf #2 is a peon make him be a peon

4. When the camera rotates around the fighting raise the height of the camera, using new cameras modify the Z axes to a few hundred, because when I see fighting I don't what to see the fighters' legs, now do I?

-Now for the content-

1. Your first Surf starts out talking without contractions, for example “It is pissing me off� then he goes into ghetto speech, “Ya' know what ia m talkin' 'bout foo'?� you should have them speak only one way, so contract the “It is� to “it's� and stuff like that.

2. Use Special FX in your fight, it is rather dull

3. Don't move units instantly, use the “Unit – Issue Order Targeting A Point� command to have units walk to areas and then speak

4. The commercial seems rather out of place in this movie, its two short for a real funny commercial brake

Nuladion, I hope you don't mind if I make a few comments about your map?

1. In your thread you display lots of knowledge about Tolkien and LoTR, however you don't display all of it in your movie, if I may suggest it would be funny if you added in the blindfolding incident into your movie, I think that just the movie goers would be suppressed at the depth and often humor of the real book.

2. You were thinking about adding the song about Nimrodel, this is probably my favoret poem by Tolkien, it probably would not be to interesting to make a clip about it, but it would be to have Legolas mention it and have it play in the background briefly.

3. The river of Nimrodel is suppose to be a beautiful place, you need to add LOTS of doodads, and Legolas, in the Noval talks of the sound of falling water, and waterfalls in Warcraft can look vary nice!

4. The rest of your map is a little plane and could use terrain height variations and lots of doodads try to get one to two thousand, non-tree doodads in, it makes it look a lot nicer.

5. Finally your cameras go through a few trees and unit, if you added more you would find this easer to control, but just look out for that in your new movies, I know it can be a pain to change old cameras

6. I HATE it when people make Legolas female, so I attaced a Legolas skin, it was the first skin I ever made and that was made long ago so if you don't like it I'm sure you could find one made by someone better at skinning then I
