I'm never jumping on the anime bandwagon. Instead I'm trying to develop my own style so I guess you could call mine sketchy for now. Although I do like to look at anime if it's done well, like the 2 elves thread (ironically anime that is actually animated is usually not worth looking at at all though) |

Definitely other, every artist develops their own style so its kind of difficult to classify certain people. My art for example, is realistic, but has a slight tinge of manga and cartooning.(which i also do) |

Which is what i normally do but if i'm lazy i'll leave it sketchy. I like anime style but i can't draw like that. |

I prefer Anime. Why does everyone seem to think Anime is about huge eyes, Have you ever even seen movies like Akira & Ninja Scroll, The Eyes/Faces on Akira are good and not cartoony/big, same with Ninja Scroll. Ever seen the Animatrix - Yeah well they are all pretty "Realistic" manga drawing. Dont see what everyones problem with Anime is, not all anime is based around "BIG EYES" its just lots of the kiddy based ones are like "pokemon, hamtora (think thats how u spell it) and ones like Beybladers and Yu-gi-Oh (not sure if thats spelt right :P ). I'm personally in favor of anything along the lines of cartoon or anime. Realistic kinda bores me... I prefer the flare of exaggeration and expression ^___^ |

American manga is what I like. A balance between cartoony and realistic. |

its not their fault that the current popualrity of anime (damn you pokemon!) has infulenced classic american manga, if anything it made it ALOT better. Especially since cel-shaded anime stuff can't even begin to compare with the current american comcis. The only pure anime artist I admire is Hyung Tae Kim, his work I adimt, is god-like. |
