What i mean is you onlyhave to build 1 ziggurat for an effective rush, so you can pile all your money into ghouls and not ziggurats.

Ahhh, okay. Yes, the food cost on ghouls will be fixed. Also there is the centaur khans at the end of the entrance and a khan at the third mine. Charging through I'm sure, is no easy task.

Fear not, ghouls are taking the nerf bat to the chin.

We are putting as much time as we can into it. We are nearly finished the spells, and the balance changes that have been *discovered* have been changed, but If we release now, there is going to be no new items, and barely any changes for some races. Ex. Human and Undead. If you have any ideas for those races, post them.

Right now we only have 3 more things to do. 1- Make the new spells for the items, 2- Get the custom icons to work. 5 of them that we made ourselves are completely green when in ther game. Might be a problem with the Alpha Channels or something. 3 - finish the new map. The new map could be released after though.. If it is taking too long. Not much time to work on it with all the other changes. My War3-NoLimit program is not working so I am having a tough time filling up about 15% of the map, have not added in doodads for show yet, and the creeps are not placed.

If we just finished icons and items it might only take a few days, the map might take a few more. When we are done the changes we will decide to finish map first, or release new patch with Desolace. Problem is there are quite alot out there that don't like Desolace, so I wanted to get this map finished.

Post your opinions on it. Patch and map or patch then map.

The new version has unfortunately hit a speed bump the size of the Grand Canyon. It WILL be released, but it will take longer than expected. (At least it will have everything)

The speed bump we hit is the following problem;

Fiery_Maelstrom: My Internet runs out in 4 days, and after that I am prolly screwed for a week or 2.

Rivin: His computer exploded... actually It didnt it explode, but his windows was deleted and his CD drives are not working so he can't reinstall it.

Laevatienn: This guy is idea/balance and he's never even touched the editor I bet. He also is freaking lazy.

This will NOT stop us! I will keep working on it and I will hitchhike if I must to Laevatienns house with a disk if I must. This has NOT stopped it, so just give us some more time :(

Well I got my computer up and running again. Yay for Windows ME *glare*

Also, I lost all of my editing tools and data. Fiery and I are trying to reorganize the chaos this has thrown us into.

We are having a little problem with one of the spells for the next version, so I thought I would post and see if anyone here has an idea.

We need a spell for the Ogre Smash Lord.. We want it to have club or something in it, as in the move he smashes the ground with his club and a shockwave shoots out. Any ideas?

The icon is a club, we just need a name for the move...

You don't have to be fancy with names. I'll go ahead an donate one of my move titles to you. It's a move that pretty much does the same thing, but it's on a Hero that my team is working on.

It's called "Power Smash". It's real simple, and it says a lot.

Well we are nearing finishing next patch...

To do:

- Finish new map:
I think this won't be in new version, maybe we will throw it on another map, but I am still not sure if my NoLimits is working or not and there is still alot to do on the map so I think we will drop it from next version.

- Add hero Glows:
This also won't be in next version for two reasons, 1: It isnt working quite right and will take a bit of time to fix, andmost importantly, 2: It adds about 1.5Mb onto the map, so it makes the map not very Bnet friendly.

-Spell bugs/Button positions/attack sounds
We just need to get the Advanced Builders working, get a few graphics fixed, change the positions of some units "Build" button, and change a few of the attack sounds for the new units.

- Test map
Then we need to run a few tests on the map for a few days.

So we are nearly at the test phase and then it will be done. I will work on it all weekend, and when Rivin gets back on Monday, I will test next week with him and Laevatienn, Mosswort_Clan, and Hephaestus, then I will post it here.

Sounds good. I once again look forward to what you have in store. As for my veiw on Download size of the map, It is good if you intend to make the make "Battle.net Friendly" by keeping the size under 1MB.

Though, My team on the other hand will be making maps that are not that friendly, hehe. Oh well, Look for some of our stuff in the Fall.

Ok.. we are almost done. Rivin has his computer on the verge of working. And there is only a small amount of things to do.

In the meantime if anyone has any last-last minute suggestions, please post. This is probably going to be the last version until FT is released, so i want to make sure it is perfect. (Or as close to)

On another topic. How did swamp get his signature to have the glowing red? I have also seen glowing blue... Does anyone know how to do this?

PS: The map will be between 900kb-1.2mb in size. We imported like 120 icons.. so it kinda got big. This will most likely be easier to transfer for people with high-speed.
