oddly enough my favorite world editor is my personal world editor I modded. I don't give it to anyone so save the time and don't even ask.

Rrrrriiiiigggghhhhtttt.........

Would this be like all the other 'great' things you've done and unfortunately not been able to release to the public?

Whats the difference between these editors? Are there different triggers you can use?

UMSWE all the way. In my opinion, it has the most features and is the easiest to use (except for the Regular one, but UMSWE has more features).

I will only keep this thread open (I am close to close it...), because I want to know how many people out there don't know about UMSWE.

Then why is the original WE getting so many votes? UMSWE breaks whenever there's a patch. My experiences with it have not been that great either -- every version I've used has had a few obvious bugs in it, like "c|000000" as a color preset (the c is in the wrong place and the color has no alpha value). UMSWE also has numerous "features" that don't work -- increasing max unit speed beyond 400 for example (although you claimed to have accomplished this, I have yet to see it). I use the original WE because it's more stable, and I can do anything UMSWE can do trigger wise with custom text.

I'd have to agree now.. the New editor's features are not quite useful enough to make me want to use a new "enhanced" editor (which is prone to bugs when new patches come out) or the Standard editor (which with FT has nearly everything you need.)

Especially with new 1.13 coming out, the editors out there will need to be updated yet again.

But I am not saying people shouldn't make these editors. If I ever need something done that is quite unusual and cannot be done with the standard editor, I would use UMSWE or WEU.

Although we have only used the standard WE since TFT came out (for the same reasons others have posted) we do appreciate the work ppl have done on advanced world editors. So why would we care if we dont use them? Because they are a large part of the reason we dont "need" them anymore. If nobody ever modified the standard WE then Blizzard wouldnt have known what was really needed in newer ver of it. Sure they have their forums for requests but that doesnt say how much a added function is really wanted. If ppl are spending the time to create their own programs or mods of WE and a lot of ppl use them Blizzard KNOWS we want that stuff. We credit the quality of the new WE in large part to everyone who made WEs, utilities and mods for the community to use.

..... G/J guys :infth:

I'm using the World Editor. Is there anything else? jk...
Anyways I don't like third party programs, and for this game it's completely useless because you can anything in the World Editor. If you can't do it in GUI triggers you can do it in JASS. So I don't see the problem.:bgrun:

Well I'm happy you guys got to practise your programming skills to make an edited version of an already great product. Always remember who made the original ok?
