Not too long... Probably an hour or so.

What took me long was actually putting down the tiles. (Which took about 5 hours of carefully and precisely placed textures.)

But you shouldn't hate me... I like having friends.

Look in the Map Development section. I think I'm gonna make a new clan for us all.;)

heh, its set in a deep forest, a bit like DK's forest for CotN but better :P its all green and dark as very little sunlight reaches the bottom, its also the home of several wierd species of fungus, the lizardmen and some rather short tempered elementals...

pheonix how do you create that green dust? Custom model? MDL editing?

edit. Nvm you just used really high green fog didn't you?

Hey Dark Angel, on your city, is that stone wall your using, if so, when I use it i can't place it next to another peice of wall other wise it has a gap between it, what did you do?

Press ctrl + numpad keys to move your selected doodad with the collision off. That's how people make stone walls come together, connect arches, etc.

Make sure your numlock is on though.

I used high density dark green fog that started 500 away from the camera and ended 5000 away.

Normally when I do a dense forest I'll make it start at around 3000 and end at 10000. It makes the fog kinda blend the trees and shrubs together, just from farther away.
