New Post Rating System

The reason you can't seem my glow very well is simply the font color not working well with the glow color. Im about to install a font color addin for the store, so that you can buy a new font color for your user name. After I change the color on my name it should look nicer :)


Also, Twister, your sig is to WIDE... Change it or ill have to change it for you.

Another stange thing is the avatar, a user can change it for free. Ill explain, he posts his avatar on his site, puts the link in the avatar system and whenever he changes/updates the avatar on his site or wherever the image is hosted, his avatar changes, free.

Im not sure if I will remove the avatar item in the store or disallow people from editing it.

I have a question

Do new views on previusly made threads count? , cause it doesn't seem to, my Selection System had a view increase since yesterday And I don't look like getting the points.

You may not be able to rate because you web browser is not allowing a java script popup. Also, that error you saw was because of the Font color addin I was installing. The addin is now install and it works, so the error is gone. And yes you should be getting points for additional views/replies to your posts. Although you may not get them until it crosses one of the point boundies.

I gave myself the points.... Why do you ask so many questions about my points? How do you expect I can TEST the font color addin that I just installed without having the points to buy a new font color?

I have another question How can I go to the "store" without having to enter to this thread?

I SERIOUSLY DISSAGREE WITH THE AVATAR AND TITLE STUFF! Consider:

-get rid of the thing that you can get titles for others, and the avatar and title things.
-make it so you need 300 points to have an avatar, no spending nething for that.
-make it so you need 150 points to have a custom title, no spending nething for that.

Then it will be like the post count, and it shows that if you have a title, you are a pretty ok forumer, and when you have an avatar, you are a great forumer. That is a lot more better than having to spend half a day to change your avatar or title.

Also consider:

-need 75 pts to have sig img's.
-add name custom colors for 650 pts
-make an announcement for 3750 pts
-make an "important" thread for 1250 pts
-make it so a thread starter can give 1 or 2 extra points for someone who is very helpful

That would make the point system better

I agree with everything but Aren't some items too expensive and some others too cheap? also could you consider on converting the previous post count to points just for the system conversion, at least the half of the post count

Your probably cant find the store link because you arn't using the Night Elf theme. I still have not applied all these changes to the other themes. If you are in the night elf theme you can find the store link at the top of the main forums page. Right under new member, looks like this:
