I think i have a nice idea for the troll leader's name: "The 2nd Zul'jin" :P "Townsville" is not a name that really fits in this AoS, the name is quite funny, but the map is more serious, isn't it? I dont really think that these "towns" should be called towns, maybe encampments and expeditions, the human "town" should be called "Human Expedition"(hope im spelling it right...) and the orc "town" should be called "Orcish Camp", dont you think? You can change the other 2 "town"'s names into "Troll Village" and "Druid Spellgrounds"(sounds kinda strange, but if you replace the furblog leader with a druid, and the soldiers of the camp with druids and treants it should sound good ^^). Well, im out'a ideas for now and i really hope that this map will be a success :D |

the names we use now are just working names... in the final version all towns will have a name, and u'll get announcements like '-player- has claimed lordship over townsville' or something. or maybe human expedition or somethjing like that is clearer... i dunno.. those where some great names for the heros by the way... i guess we'll take em :D thx for the feedback everyone!! keep it coming. |

Name him an indian-stlye name, like Stoutclaw the Wise or Grimpaw the Patient. Furbolgs have a shamanistic society (or so it is implied). |

New hero concept: Ghost Ranger! The Ghost of a Fallen Night Elf ranger, barely able to cling on to reality, often shifting in and out of reality. Side: Maiev Primary attribute: Agility Secondary attribute: intel. Type: Intel. assasin. Skills: Distract: gives a chance to miss. Increases chance with every level. Dark Arrow: autocast, enhances the Ghost Rangers arrows with dark magics, increasing the attack damage. Phase shift: temoraly shifts into non existance. Mana cost and cooldown decreases every level. (ultimate) Ghost walk: Allows the dark ranger to cummunicate with the ghost world, transforming into and out of the ghost form, at will. Decreases mana cost every level. |

what would you think of this hero idea for maiev? Soul Revenant. attribute: Intelligence Function: supportive. -Mana Drain: drain enemies mana -Mana Share: give an allied hero mana -Mana Cylinder: (passive) increase mana capicity -Release: rapidly combusts the Soul Revenants mana, damaging units and buildings around the Soul Revenant. the hero will have very low HP and armor. the idea of this hero is that you really have to fight to get to lvl 6, wich is hard cuz in first lvl hes like a free pwn, and then when you finally do reach lvl 6, sap all you enemies and get ur mana to 100%, get into position and WHAM! deal great amounts of damage to everyone around you in a short timeframe. we really need backup on this cuz i wanna give him a nuke instead of the mana share but vig0r wants to stick with the mana share idea... vig0r fully made this hero up, and pretty much all of the Temptress and half of the Ghost Ranger as well... so i wanna post 1 of mine as well =) Naga Ranger: Attribute: Agility Function: ranged assasin. -Summon Giant Sea Turtle: Summon a Giant Sea turtle with a spiked shell to tank for you -pierce: fires a magic arrow that shoots though units, damaging units in a row. -Trueshot aura: increases the damage of all ranged units around the Ranger. -Farshot Arrows: (autocast) fire a lighter arrow that has a further range at the cost of mana EDIT: please comment our work... we want to make this game as userfriendly and fun to play as possible, with good inspired heros, sweet items and leet gameplay. Please comment our hero ideas, everyting that pops in your mind might just help, or inspire us to de something diffrently. This thread allready got over 300 vieuws, yet not really good feedback on our hero ideas... great help on the town and hero names though, props to that. |

Great hero ideas guys, I especially like the Soul Revenants concept, very original and most importantly - useful! From the sounds of things, Maiev's forces seem to be ranged dominated, does she have any new melee units? The ghost ranger seems familiar somehow... What's the difference between phase shift and ghost walk? |

(dunt get why he posted the temptress then... thats like our most original so far.. together with the Soulrevenant...) |
