Hi, well I voted yes though i'm using jass only and I don't need the GUI but I
care for the community and I would say something like be proud in your work
and let the community be proud at you, since you did a a real great work.

Well I think you should continue your work, I know how hard is to start a project and then after you are tired from it you wanna leave, But man think of all the people need your map and even depened on it, and wow a great idea, to combine the two editors will be so great, you two great developers,
and you could improve what you are doin'.

Starcraftfreak & PitzerMike I hope you will combine and keep the good work on and release your editors for 1.15 :) and so on. ^_^

(ie good custom text support, mopaq uploads, campaign editor)

well have you noticed how when everyone says: "hey, we need the ability to do this in an editor!", and you guys put that feature in for them... it THEN soon appears on the standard editor?

kinda feels like your setting a bar for blizzard (or whoever makes WE) to keep up with...

Either way i think you all deserve headjobs all round for continuing for so long to innovate as the rest of us bark out expectations at you. I think its that combination in this humble community which makes it so strong
You are correct in this, when I first began developing the editor back before the buff editor and such, Blizzard would contact me, or address me directly in the forums about additions to the editor. I don't know if SCFreak has continued this or not, but Blizzard put UMSWE into their FAQ and such as well. So I know they had seen it and possibly tried using it.

P.S. SCFreak or Mike, if either of you are starting too feel sick of the projects or want some outside help, I'll be around for at least the summer to help if anyone wants it. SCFreak, if you want my help again with the project, there may be a opportunity coming soon to make it extremely widespread, so just keep in touch.

Meanwhile I released a 1.15 compatible version of UMSWE. But this is only the beginning. I and PitzerMike will merge our editors to provide the best editing capabilities under one banner soon.

I didn't know that Blizzard is THAT aware of this editor. Of course they added they Buff editor AFTER I added the Buff/Effect Editor for UMSWE. Did you say, they contacted you?

I welcome your will to help. Maybe we (PitzerMike, Scio, Starcraftfreak) should talk together in a chat.

Would be nice if you joined up again Scio. Also what you say about blizzard is very intersting. Let's talk about all that in a chat.

The only thing I use special editors for is WEU for the extra tiles and larger map sizes, other than that I don't use them for anything.

Ever since buffs and effects were introduced into the normal worldeditor, I quit using UMSWE. It would be nice to see some more versions.

It would be very nice if you keep working on UMSWE. But this is still one of the best advanced World Editor i've seen so far.

[ Yes Worldedit Unlimited is as well really powerfull, but I don't like it much, and just making a map for example really heavy make it even worst when you only need 2 of the functions. ]

But it's your choice anyway.
