Guest | Why does the camera always drop beneath the floor? |

I have no idea... It happens to me sometimes too when I'm not changing the camera. However, most of the time (for me) it goes off after a while and somehow stabilises. I have no idea why but I find ways to go past it. Does it sink below ground for you when you have the camera following a unit or only when it's idle? |

ok, so blizzard gots this little anti cheat mechanism on, is this anti cheat revelent to battle.net? if so is there anyway you could use/create a program to get around this? I had never had any plans for my map/map idea, to go onto battle.net, i was thinking more along the lines of LANing with a friend or something. if its like an enclosed system without net connection, could you basically change war3FT to allow any of the anti-de-sync crap? |

Well, the best way to get around it would be not to use battle.net or blizzard things at all, since any method to use this in battle.net would also allow you to use maphacks in battle.net and such, which I think blizzard has been successful in preventing. Basically the FPS Mod 3rd party program sends info to your map and from there action happens. This information can be obtained also over the net, so in theory, you could allow the fps control programs to be able to send and receive information from a host. Basically each person runs his map on single player wc3, that receives information from the server about where the rest of the people think they are, and each person gets the same result. As you can see it's really troublesome and so that's probably why the FPS Mod team abandoned it. |

Guest | I have a RIDIculous problem. Neither TSearch or FPS control pick up warcraft, even though windows task manager does. This means i cant get the address, and the mod doesent work. |

You need to load both of them anyway, if you don't want to load one, just close it. |

I am just a tad pissed, and I had to reinstall warcraft III RoC and tFT. heres the reaons: 1)I installed Tsearch and FPScontrol and launched warcraft tFT. 2)I opened the tutorial map and then minimized out and launched Tsearch and FPScontrol. 3)I went to Tsearch and went to "open process" (aka, the big button) 4)Once the window came up, only Tsearch, InternetE.exe and wc3ereader came up. [no war3.exe or whatever.) 5)I restarted cpu and then did the same process BUT i opened warcraft III TFT from the main .exe file in My Programs folder>Warcraft III 6)And I minimized it when it was starting up, bingo! wc3.exe was on Tsearch. I selected it and then went into the game. It got pretty laggy and didnt notice that the sound didnt work until I went into the WE to edit a map of mine. 7)Anyway, during the laggyness, no mouse look or jumping. and moving foward took 50 presses to get a square tile up. then I exitted. 8)I got bored and went into WE and immidiately in the clear map part when it first starts, it read in yellow in the corner: Sound error. Disabled Sound. Could not Read sound file. or something like that. 9)Now the anger comes. 10)I restart my cpu and open a map and still the same error comes up. I go into the sounds in WE and none worked. Not even in the mainmenu of Wacraft the game! So I reinstalled wc3 and now my sound and all works, except for fpscontrol and tsearch. PLEASE RESPOND! I NEED TO KNOW WHY THIS HAPPENED! Thank You, sorta. |

Well, there's a sticky thread right under this titled "Solution to not finding problems". TSearch simply doesn't work for this version of tft. |
