i released a simple version of the password generator, see my sig for the link. It doesnt offer much protection to encrypting the password, but gives you an idea on how to do it

guys i love your map im a newb to this editing stuff like spells and junk i can make spells but not sure how to put em inside the editor anyone who can set me straight on that i will be glad to learn and in return help you :) (AIM name: Vestax321) i can help you with terraining im not a expert but i can do some pretty spiffy stuff nothing on the large scale like the entire map but i could make a pretty good castle or fort or whatever you would like just give me a yell..

if you have the time i'd like to put forward some ideas i had..

Elves should get a slightly high int bonus they are legendary wizards and such.. for the archer the searing arrow or whatever you would prefer to call it shouldnt cost mana just be a regular effect since it just adds fire to the arrow? and this is annoying when trying to cast other spells but its your map not mine :)

you need to be carefull on how much health the monsters have or up the damage on the spells.. since whats a 180 damage chain lightning going to do to the super monsters? this is the problem with most casters in normal maps and with the rpg this might be even worse since your adding pvp (?) maybe just up the armor and dont touch the health or raise the spell damage but im not sure how high you could raise it i havent tried to make any super spells..

another spell caster problem.. they would need more points to stay inline with the melees.. i played your heroquest map i loved it but with a melee you could get 30 int your straight and then you could just hit up agility / strength but with casters you needed to raise strength and agility some which wounded your int you got and gave you a small penalty for being a caster to make up for this you could hand any regular spell casters a summon thats very powerfull but cost most of there mana and has a sort of "taunt" which makes or helps all surrounded monsters attack it or if you really wanted to spend some time you could make casters fly and give monsters another attack for flying units which did less but im sure there is a easier way..

Speed attribute? you serious? shouldnt this fall under agility? i would replace it with one of 2 things.. a magic resistance thing which could work as a evasion type of spell and based on the persons int or something? probably to hard to work out but would be nice.. or dex which would help with several things.. it would help your health slightly due to your threshhold of pain and help your armor a little over 20 or so points much less then agility and help your spell casting since your body is more able to withstand the abuse of magic

i can alrdy see melees / archers would be the best in pvp in this becuase they will have tons of hp so maybe you should look at that well in the pvp maps which i hope would be sort of like a set of forts arranged and having kobold heros and human heros on seperate teams

i hope you have a map like EQ with godly people i mean SUPER godly which needs 10 very very high lvl people to take em down and gives great items but how will you keep out newbs? :)

and i hope you guys dont exploit your own little coding system there *snicker*

if your would really like to get technical how about making 200 or so spells (ill be willing to do it if someone teaches me how to place spells into the map) and have chars select the spells they want with restrictions of course then making the code say what lvl of each spell they have and giving that hero that spell? probably to hard but np :)

sellback system? helpfull but would prevent hand me downs to newbs

plz let the maps have no set victory condition so 4 people wont go off complete the map while your doing something else :) also should have a request for the code like -pass so if someone needs to leave they can get it

err wait a second starting to say stuff you guys alrdy know about :) if you need my help PM me or IM me (Vestax321) btw i want in on the beta testing.. if you want i wont tell anyone about your secrets in the map..

Well, as far as racial bonuses (such as elves having a bonus to INT) it's already taken care of. Somewhere on page two I attached a .doc (revision 1.2 I think) that has the current ideas on how the heroes will work.

Well anyways Dakan, I don't think us working together on this project the way we are is working out. (Nothing against you, I still wanna work with you, but...) But some ideas I have, won't work with what we have decided as a team, I'm willing to help you out at much as I can, if you do the same, but the maps we release shouldn't be the same series. And your heroes are good, but as a personal opinion I like mine better and they fit with the storyline I want to use.

I'm sorry, but I'm gonna go on my own with my team, I can help with stuff if you like, and about your encryption, send me an email and I'll send you one back if you want with my encryption idea, which is almost hackproof, I don't want to post it here, well for the obvious reason.
