for now just make it the first continent. I am trying to find a way to make a bigger map.

phantasydreamer, the sooner you can get me that map the faster this mod will be able to get off of the ground.

I can send you what Ive done but we need an entire story, we need to know where we are going... I cant make the terrain without knowing what will follow next so if you want to start working on trigger ok, i will send you the map, but i will finish it when we will have the story done

Now if you want me to make some other map you must tell me...

i think we will just do the first continent for now. We will make it like 1 -2 hours of gameplay and then if that becomes a successful map then we will think about trying to acutally make the whole first world. If we try to do too much at the beginning we are all gonna run out of interest b4 we ever get a beta out there anyway. I really like the stuff you did with the terrain, thx a lot for your help. If you can do spell based triggers that might help. I am looking for a lot of special effects and buffs that we can use for the mod. If you can make special effects and buffs with .mdl editing that would be awsome. If you can't don't worry, I can't either.

No I cant really. I find it kinda borring all remake a game we wont complete, why dont we create something new...

what new things would you implement? how would you make it shorter and better? plz give me some ideas of what you mean.

Who would like to play a game that isnt even complete? That is what I mean...

well..... i was planning to make it a continuing saga. Kind of like LOTR in the fact that they only released 1 movie each year. Ppl watched the first movie and were begging for more but they still had to wait because it took time to finish all of the stuff for the second movie. I know plenty of ppl that still loved LOTR even though for 2 whole years it was an incomplete story. That is kind of what I am trying to do.

Sorry but I dont think I will play warcraft long enough to complete hundreds of hours of works....

I may help you if the project is less hugh, else i cant.

okay... then I will make a new storyline, completly change the name, and the direction of this mod. Give me a couple of days to do it though.

okay, how about this. Here is my new storyline.

"As a young boy, I always wondered what it would be like to fly. I had seen the dragons flying in the night and always wished that I could be there right alongside them, flying to a new horizon. One morning I was pondering this fact, as I often did, and I decided to go for a walk in the country to help ease my mind. As I was going along I noticed a cave in the side of a nearby mountain and decided that I might as well go take a look at it. Upon entering this mysterious cave I heard an unearthly noise and was about to go back, but my curiosity got the better of me and I decided that I would go in farther and see what was in there. As I approached the heart of the cave a great rushing wind came at intervals and it seemed to get hotter the farther down I got. Suddenly I came around a corner and there in the middle of a room filled with gold I saw a huge dragon snoring in a slumber that looked like it has lasted for many years. I was a curious lad and decided that since the dragon was fast asleep, I would take a look around. But then, the great behemoth opened one eye and stared right at me. I felt his stare go right through me. I felt as if he knew all that I had ever known and that, even if I wanted to, I could not hide anything from him. His breath was warm and I knew that he could easily scorch me right there and then. In spite of all this, I felt strangely at peace, I know it sounds funny, but I didn't feel afraid at all. Then it spoke, not in words, but with a voice that filled my mind. It filled my mind with pictures of an ancient life, an ancient civilization that was nearly killed off several thousand years prior to this day. It spoke of a great race of dragons that ruled all creatures and were supreme in the world, until one day. The skies turned dark, and the rain started coming. This was not any ordinary rain though, it was a rain of death. Every drop of rain was huge and when it collided with the ground a great demon of the earth was conjured up. These huge goliaths of mother nature tore up town and countryside. The dragons did all that they could, but soon the earth was desolate and almost all life had ceased to exist. The only hope that the earth had was one dragon, the most powerful dragon, he saved as many dragons as he could, but ended up dying while fighting a huge army of the dark ones. No one knew at that time who had done this great evil, but later it was discovered to be an evil mage that had been shut up in a dungeon by the dragons and had lived there for a hundred years. As the dragon told this story I was filled with sadness and sorrow and wished that i could have been there to help. The dragon saw these emotions in me and said, 'You have been chosen young one to save the race of dragons this time. You have powers given to you by the great dragon gods that no other man posseses. You are able to change into the same dragon of old, the same dragon that saved us all.' As he said this I was filled with a warm feeling. I suddenly felt very lightheaded and fell to the ground, but when I got up, I was no longer a boy, I was a great dragon. I dashed out of that cave as fast as my little legs could carry me and I swooped out into the sky. Wind whistled through my scales and I felt finally the great sensation of flying. As i flew though, the sky darkened and I knew that I would not be able to enjoy lesiure time anymore. I had to save the race of dragons."

This would be the starting cinematic. After this you would go through a campaign with different missions to save the dragons. Tell me if you like this idea.
