This is in the wrong forums btw. But if you use WEU Enhancer you could protect the map with a password. The map still opens but cannot be saved. |

i think map protection varies in extent... like me personally would vary which map i'd wish to protect... one that uses a save system and is quite large etc. would be protected for the sake of people and idiots who try and crack it etc. if you want information on your maps like quests, custom triggers etc. i dont blame you for protecting it... but i also personally encourage mappers to play with maps etc. though it sounds contradictory, i reckon if or when i protect a map, i would put someting in saying "if you are interested in any content please email me..."... all in all i am saying that both sides have worthy statements, but it also depends on the mapper and the content. |

Second, this is a sensitive subject that we like to keep off the boards, as it's a prooven fact that everytime these threads get to live, they turn into frantic flame-wars, so I'll be closing this thread now.
