Oh, I don't mean they have to show those units; those towers can be solid rock with only those small windows showing from whence arrows sprout.

to have archers actually show up, well, I guess it should be possible to have a little walkable patch (at the towers position) which can't be accessed from any way, and when a archer 'boards' the tower, he is then placed on that patch and granted immunity or extra armor or so, or replaced by a custom version with longer range and higher armor (fortified armor) with the same statts, 'till he leaves again.. sumtin' like that.
(But I just had the first type in mind)

(The tower should then be a desctructable doodad I suppose, and boarding it should probably be done by triggers and invisble units or other stuff.. dunno..)

well, I got into troubles with the pathing of the diagonals but I've done it now...

I've got a bunch of stuff - I'm still making new wall ends and things... It's going to very very fiddly to get all these things into a map

the real advancement will be to add death animations/particle emitters and dead variants - yeah, I ain't doing that though

nice chubbs :D and yeah i don't think you need the death animation and stuff, unless you're planning on your walls taking a beating.
