One of my Terrain Works

Ive got to dissagree with Dungeon M. especialy on pics 6 and 10, the steched tiles give it a truly ruins look. often those cliffs dont look particualy ruined even though theyre in sunken ruins. a brillaint use of shrubs and cliff vines cover up the pointed edges. admitadly it could do with something round the edge, but overall a very high quality terrain compared to most.As for pic ten, the bushed may be spammed, but to good effect, there are paths round the edge prevent the pic from being repetitious, and this terrina would look great in game with some pathing blockers

You can't expect much good opinions from me, I'm prefectionist. :\

(Not saying I'm perfect.)

I love the murgul city... it's great. I just have one small complaint about it, I think that the ammount of archs is a bit overwhelming... The ammount of archs in that undead setting on your first post was perfect... but hey, it's all good. Rock on.

And by the way...

And please work on your grammer...

Explain to me why that matters at all? That seemed to come out of no where... I highly doubt that you tell this to everyone on the board that has bad "GRAMMER" (You have to repect that).... There's some people on this board that you can barely understand sometimes, but it's fine as long as they get the point across, right?

All the pictures look really nice. It is turning out to be a pretty good gallery. I like the tomb screen shot best. The murgul screen shots look a bit strange with all the white arches next to the yellow tiles, green fog, blue sky and water, and sand. There are also too many. If it was a tunnel I would understand but I think it needs a little fixing. The green fog also looks kind of strange to me. Oh well maybe its just me.

By the way its spelled grammar with an a and not an e. Also considering how many of us live in seperate countries and speak multiple languages their grammar and spelling is fairly good. None of us are perfect.

I like the Mur'gul city, especially the tomb :) I think this was an original idea, as far as I know, noone has done a Mur'gul one before. Of course, keep up the good work!

They don't look bad. Some needs work, like that waterfall on a small mountain. Try to think realistically and look at pictures to achieve better comments and to reach your goal. For example, you could make that mountain bigger, so having more water would be more realistic than a tiny puddle making all that water roll down a mountain.

It's for sure not crap. I agree with a few people. I you need to keep one thing in mind when trying to make good terrain .....be creative and use lots of doodads.

I found where that palm tree model is from. if you make a new doodads and give it the model NightelfbackdropV1 its part of that, along with the walls and those new plants. I know people ahve already extracted models from these sceens before, as ive seen the arthas from one of the menus, butit was unfortauantely never animated. i anyone readint his knows how to just remove models from these sceens could you please remove the palm tree curved naga steps.
Also, if you make a doodad of the NEbackdropV0 then you see where the elveswood tree comes from, origonaly a blizzard model. i also request if anyone knows how to get these models out if they could extract the 2 other trees in this sceen, as the large one to the left that sways looks especialy good

you 'just' have to merge them out of the NightelfbackdropV1 and make it a unique model! I think that some guys tried it but it was damn hard and they didnt get it right.
Man, you could do some fantastic scenes with this tree...

I thought that looked like the walls and stuff from the NightElf backdrop inside the glues game interface thingy. Looks cool though.

So it was from the NightElf Backdrop. I thought the walls looked familiar. He said he skinned those walls.
