Its a nice sceen, but why no fog? it hides those unsightly horizon lines, and the hill on the left of the last pic. too square, i never like cliffs, i think it would look better if it were part of a much larger mountain dissaprering into the distance. i do like the waterfal comeing out of the cave idea thoughm, ive never seen that before :D |

heh , well , thanks for complimangs , i dont like cliffs either , it makes it looks ugly! , but do you know how to make the straight up mountain/cliffs like in COTN? |

Since Im lazy, I just download UMSWE (its another map editor, like an advanced WE) and let it do the work. Steep cliffs are cool! |

You can also make steep cliffs in the normal editor if you put this file into a folder your probably need to create called UI inside your wacraft folder. Your waterfall from the cave is really cool. Although it looks like in order to get up to that height the water would have to defy gravity and go up the cliff and then come out of the opening. Add some light to some of your terrain. It looks really really good though. |

Great, ive got a WIP map but its only got one sceen as ive been working mostly on the orc city and i didnt want to have a whole thread about it yet, heres some screens of the frost orcs settlemt, (still WIP, this is more about the terrain, rather than the outpost which has barely been started) Im a little lost as what to put at the bases of the tees, at least the ones in the clearings. Both the grunt and shamen skins are just recoulers of stuffkickers work. |
