Yea i though u would :D

But remember that its hard to become a pirate... Your ship needs to be able to kill some stuff on all teams to get negative status, AND plunder some neutral villages, THEN you can become a pirate.

Another thing i got from an idea from Haraldir is the ability to create your own little "villages" or "hideouts". Lets say for a high cost you can buy a small tent, and then place it somewhere on map. And then you can buy cannons which you can place there to protect it. This way all terrain would be used for buildings, i think its a fun gameplay to place your own settlement.

And now i need ur opinion folks: Should you be able to save or not? Saving would NOT save ship, guns, houses, units etc., only captain! But i though of making so when you save your hero, all stuff you have is sold and put into the save. THis way you keep your money, but have to rebuy your stuff. The ship (without guns, the guns have to be sold while saving) can be calculated which one you have depending on how much food you currently got. So lets say the save looks like this:

*Hero type, level, items, skills* - *Gold (after it sells everything you got)* - *Lumber* - *Food*

Now if i gave each ship in the whole game a special number, for example a heavy cruiser could have "7". Then when it saves, it gives the player it's ships number in lumber. When it loads, it gives the player the ship matching its lumber amount. This way you could save Captain, Ship, and everything else would be sold at 100% cost!

i dont think its a problem you have to rebuy stuff-- you can try a new tactic once you lost everything, but wouldnt it be more important to save your reputation/alliance/status thingie then it is saving a boat? you can always buy a new boat, the reputation has to be rebuld from scratch, wich takes time.

Well lets say 8 pros are gonna play this map together. Unfortanately, they have all saved while being allied in the Royal Fleet! Therefor, nobody can fight eachother... too bad ^^

Therefor you will change team every time you play, got it?

Ok i've added ALOT of new stuff since last post, i kinda forgot this thread! (i use mappersguild too much)

Ok here's some new stuff:

* Each captain/ship has a button so you can easily change between 3 different cam views (1st person, 3rd person, birdseye view)

* 3rd person and birdeye view can easily be rotated by pressing a button and then a spot on ground; the cam will then rotate to face that spot so you can "look around" with your hero!

* Also a idea of making "story" quests more then "go-kill-reward" quests. Example: Escort this transport to the enemy coast and guard it while unloading the land force. When the raid is completed you must escort it back to our shores. Their will also be some things that happen so the story is pushed forward, for example one of the countries can launch a full invasion on a enemy island. When this happens alot of missions will of course be enabled: First escorting/transporting the fleet to the enemy island. Then joining the ground/air/water force to help in the attack of the island. Small mission's inside the attack can also be enabled, like defending a bridge or holding a city from the enemy forces. These happenings would probably be random: From time to time the computer chooses from a huge list of things that can happen in the world and then those triggers are activated!

Well getting the mods outside wc3 is what we all want isnt it? :D

This looking around is not any complicated stuff really... or maybe it was the quest's you meant? The Quests wud require lots of trigger work but... that's what i think is fun about modding anyways =)
