Something you must understand is that, even though this is a Total Conversion. It's a lot of 'doing with what we have' attitude. I'm not one of those guys who manages a team of guys who are some of the best in their trades like Realm Design does, or Project Enigma. Most of the stuff I get is from the download section, Request Forum and the Forge.

I suppose that this is one of the reasons that make me attracted to this mod. It is very ambitious, but it isn't a huge team of pros who can model and texture things that rival Blizzard. This project is mostly (as far as I understand) something about showing that anybody actually can do good mods.
As for not belonging in what you call the Hall of Greatness. Tell me, how could a Project ROR! member not belong in the Hall of Greatness? :> .
So when do we see that Blood Elf mounted unit?

Hmmm, i wanted to ask, will there be boats? :>
Becouse, i would be cool saling the sea and then BAM and a giant army from many boats come to your base and destroy it ^_^

You won't be able to make boats, but you will get some in certain missions.

Ok

And another question (maby i missed it), will the races be seperated?

In a few minutes... ^_^

The races are not seperated, its three factions. The Horde (Orcs, Trolls, Ogres and Undead) the Alliance (Humans, Night Elves, Dwarves and Gnomes) and the Outlanders (Blood Elves, Nagas ands Draneis).

Still a major WIP!. Remember that this campaign is an army-based RTS. Therefore, there will be lots of large open areas in the maps to allow troop movement. Not like in Warcraft III where you have small armies and over-powered heroes.

Here is the long-awaited Blood Elf mounted unit. I suppose that most of you will be disappointed by it since I all told you what a great skin it was. Just keep in mind that I hadn't seen it before now, so don't kill me. lol. However, you must admit that it is a VERY good skin. perhaps better than what I was thinking of.
So, now you guys can help. What should I call him? I thought of Blood Rider or Blood Knight. Any ideas?
Skin by Jester-of-Death.
Model by alfredx_sotn.
EDIT: And yes Reaper. Even though they are in the same faction, they each have their own country, culture lands and all.

I don't know and I don't pretend to know.
But what I do know is: If Blizzard said that the Quel'Dorei became mortal when they were exiled from Kalimdor; then the Quel'Dorei DID become mortal when they were exiled from Kalimdor.
Reason: Quel'Doreis were created by Blizzard. Night Elves were created by Blizzard. The Warcraft storyline was created by Blizzard. Therefore, if Blizzard says something about their storyline, then it is true become it belongs to them and they created it.

Right, I'll try and draw a line to this argument here.

At first, the Night Elves settle near the Well of Eternity. The well gave them elongated lives and power.
After the War of the Ancient. The Kaldoreis created Nordassil (the World Tree) and the Dragonic Aspects each gave a blessing upon it. I can't remember exactly what each was, but the deal was that should the Kaldoreis ever give the power back to the Wolrd Tree, then their immortality and powers over nature would fade away.
Then the High Elves were exiled, and because of their use of magic and their exile. They became mortal. They could live to be 100 of years old. But at some point they would die.
During Reign of Chaos, the Night Elves return their powers to Nordassil, therefore, they lose their powers over nature and their immortality.
After a while, the Blood Elves embrace Warlock magics (says so in the manual). But since Blood Elves are descendants of the High Elves, they also are mortal. That means all Elves are mortal right now.
The Druids then try to rebuild a new Wolrd Tree. They create it and they ask the Dragons to once again put their blessings upon the new World Tree. However, the Dragon Aspects refuse to do so once more.
That leaves us with: Night Elves - mortal. High Elves - mortal. Blood Elves - mortal.
Even though the Blood Mage says "I'm here mortal". The Blood Elves ARE mortal.

Moratl or no, it actualy doesn't matter. They are mortal in the game so they are mortal and that's that. Now forget about the elfs and get back to the campaign ^_^

i dont know if it have been awnsered yet but you can use multiples skins for one unit, you can by instance, have two arthas in a map, one wearing the normal wearings and the other wearing a chainmail. very original example i just gave...

mmmmm.... that knight doesnt seem to match the style of all the other skins you are using. Also, the model is a bit bulky for an elf. If you want, give me two days and i will make you a special blood elven knight model. All you guys will have to do is skin it.
