Now for that super hard spell that's been lurking under the carpet..... Life Line- Ultimate ability. Target a friendly unit. Unit has Life Line buff. While unit has buff that unit has reincarnation. When the unit reincarnates the buff is removed. Casting additional Life Lines does not stack with previous life lines but resets the buff duration. Inspired by Chrono Trigger. |

feel free to adapt any of the following as you see fit. I want to make a multiplayer god sim. I am using the chaos gods in WFB* as a base for the gods in the game and have been thinking for a while how the spells in this tabletop game could be converted into spell in war3. Some can be made normally in the WE but these cannot. I might have a few more later but here are my ideas at the moment: SPELLS (note: because they are used by gods the spells have a long range and are very powerful. I am using the black and white system with temples; the spells are fired from these so the range is need as the caster can't move). Slanesh (lore of pain and pleasure): -Titillating Delusions: creates and illusion of the enemy's deepest desire (ward). Units that come too close (radius of around 600) will be irresistably draw to it (they move slowly towards it) but when they reach the illusion, it vanishes. The ward could be placed behind your army, making your opponents men blunder mindlessly through your ranks. Nurgle (Gifts of the plagued one): -Pestilence: targets one unit. This unit loses health periodically while passing the disease onto all nearby units. a massivly destructive spell, just be carful your own men don't catch it! Tzeentch (Lore of change): -Indigo fire: AOE spell which stays in the area a short while. Effected units take severe damage and any that die turn into horrors (small mutated creatures represent by sludge monstrosities) under the control of the caster. throws the opponent's army into disarray! -Violet fire: Targets a single hero at a short range (around 1000). This hero has to pass a test (level of hero x 10% chance to pass) or he disappears into the realm of chaos and is never seen again. The player can create a new hero of this type at their altar (he isn't dead, he is gone forever!) *WFB = Warhammer Fantasy Battles. A tabletop game played with minatures, dice and rulers. |

I have been trying to make this spell, failed, then asked for help, a lot of people gave me help especially Anitarf(thanks again Anitarf), but its still not working and I gave up with it. The Spell: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name:Prayer Hero Ability:True Levels:10 Level 1 - Damage Reduced:15% Level 2 - Damage Reduced:19% Level 3 - Damage Reduced:23% Level 4 - Damage Reduced:27% Level 5 - Damage Reduced:31% Level 6 - Damage Reduced:35% Level 7 - Damage Reduced:39% Level 8 - Damage Reduced:43% Level 9 - Damage Reduced:47% Level 10 - Damage Reduced:51% Targets Allowed:Friend, Allied, Self -It reduces damage from all damage types, melee, ranged, spells, abilities, ...everything. -It casts in a PB-AoE fashion around the caster with a radius of 600 (such as Battle Roar would). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you could make this spell it would be AWESOME, thanks if you take your time to help me with this :D |

I'm gonna try to give you a REAL challenge. Blaster Cannon -Kinda same thing as in Mega Man X, you hold down the hot key button for trigger or hold down the trigger it self, and after 1 second of holding it takes away 15 mana and adds +30 damage to the next shoot, after 1.5, 20 mana +40 damage after 2, 25 mana +50 after 2.5, 30 mana +60 ----so on untill 5 seconds---- after 5 seconds blasts a shockwave type shot dealing aoe damage in a line. I hope I was clear cause sometimes people not understand what I say sometimes. [edit]: To make it more clear, i said takes away 15 mana, then 1.5 20 mana, i didnt mean 20 mana after that, i meant 20 mana total so fair has been deducted from the unit. [Added Note] I was wondering maybe each second add like, a different orb effect to the gun of the hero, so you can see him powering up, and at 5 seconds you stop charging up and can hold the ability untill u fire. So its not like after 5 seconds it auto fires the shockwave type thing. [Personal Note] If you think it's easy to make this, you probably didnt do it the way I intended it to be made, I've made the easy way, and it's not that great of a spell unless made right. |

SORRY! My internet gave out when I was editing my last message, I added another spell challenge, and I'm afriad you looked at my first then assumed thats it, so i'll reright it in a different post. ._______________________________________________________ Next Spell (Not a hero spell) It works like this, somebody is in a seige tank, another person clicks move into a seige tank when 300 near by it, Action: Places the unit as the gunner Unit has total control of the seige tanks attacks including a mortor attack with 8 second cooldown, Main attack is minigun with fast attack speed and low damage. Its not a shoot at target attack, its like in Archery Tactics, where u hit A and it shoots an arrow striat at angle ur facing, thats like how minigun is. [Extra Credit] Make it so a 2nd person can board the tank (in passenger seat, making it a total of 3 people in car) and shoot his own weapon out the window, no not same attack as in archery tactics but regular attack, (possible add a drunken haze to him so he misses a bit due to high speeds.) [Super Extra Credit] If you can make it so units bounce off the front of car dealing slight dizzyness and some damage to both the unit hit and the car. [Ultimate Super Extra Credit] If you can make it so when an enemy unit attacks the car it splits the damage up between the car itself, and all the passengers in the car. |

Request: Magic Missile (from DnD) If you have played any DnD based game you'll probably know what magic missile is. Level 1: Two magic missiles (firebolts) erupt from the caster, one goes left one goes right going in a half circle towards the target (not Z but X any Y). Level 2: Three magic missiles... Level 3: Four magic missiles... Level 4: Fivemagic missiles... I need the spell to have four levels. I tried doing this myself and asked for help in the trigger haven and they advised me to ask you since "He's good at that kind of stufg - th15" |

***Dark Warping Attack*** The Blademaster pulls one target into the air. The targeted unit is put into a giant transparent dark lightning orb then the Blademaster multiplies into two. One Blademaster on each side and keeps using the Attack animation 5 times, each time the blademaster attacks does 25 damage so both Blademasters attack five times doing 250 damage. And last, the two Blademasters come back together and uses a critical strike animation. Both the Blademaster and the target go back onto the floor. When the target lands a special effect of "Howl of Terror" and "Psi Wave" and "Thunder Clap"`comes out. It does 100 damage to the target. The target takes a total of 350 damage. :> ***Devour Soul*** The caster absorbs a unit's soul, adding a soul to his "Soul Points". Each time the user absorbs a soul he gains hitpoints. When the caster dies, he loses all his souls. ( THE UNIT IS KILLED) (ALSO WORKS ON HEROES BUT ABILITY MUST BE LVL5) Lvl 1. 15 HP and +1 armor gained per soul absorbed Lvl 2. 25 HP and +3 armor gained per soul absorbed Lvl 3. 35 HP and +5 armor gained per soul absorbed Lvl 4. 45 HP and +7 armor gained per soul absorbed Lvl 5. 55 HP and +10 armor gained per soul absorbed ***Hellfire*** The caster encases the enemies in a swirling ball of vengeance and detonates it for massive damage: 500. Then six lightning lightning orbs converge in onto one point and explodes. Tons of lightning bolts zap enemies. ***Oni Transformation*** Picks every enemy unit (not counting heroes) within 500 radius and explodes the units. After the explosion, a soul comes out and goes straight to the heroe's hands. If the hero manages to collect at least 15 souls, he will transform into a Onimusha. He will have increased attack/movement speed, armor, hp, mana, damage and regen rate. Increases all of these attributes by 15 percent. ( the more souls the hero collects, the higher percent of increase) (if he absorbs lets say 50 souls, his attributes will increase by the number of souls collected so he will be 50 percent stronger) |

--charged strike-- i need a spell that bashes a unit backwords when its hit. something like: hero attacks unit. 10% (15% 25% 30%) to stun and hit him backwards 350(400,425,450) range. charm with "splash" --splarm-- if a hero charms a unit it will take more units around target unit charmed aswell,like a splash. and put a max number of (3,4,5,6,7) for the lvls of the spell. a harder 1 (dnuno if possible) --lightning strikes-- hero casts the spell. in a circle around him (bout 400 range first lvl. 100 range growing each lvl) in a circle there come lightning bolts (the doodads or monsoon effect) and when the circle is complete a HUGE explosion at target caster wich deals high damage in entire circle. (300 lvl1,400 range. 400 lvl2,500 range 500 lvl3,600 range). ty |

Sorry for the long unactivity period, I love this time of the year where I have tons of time at home and null time on the web. I made 4 of the spells : - Freakazoid "Frozen throne power" , I called it Artic Fury - The Forked Chain Lightning thing - Pyrus' Life Line - And wilbo's Titillating flash those 4 spells are here : http://www.wc3sear.ch/index.php?p=Spells&ID=292 I have some questions: bur: I can make blaster cannon, as long as you don't want it to use the keyboard but just charge the beam like a channeling spell, what do you think? Milkman: I am interested in making that spell, but could you please explain how the missiles are supposed to move? |
