No it maxs out at a 100 and still its quite annoying having to change the life for each item specifically...

No, I'm sure you can change the life for example to 2500, I tried it...
and why it's annoying? Do u think the map thinks a bit and finally announces the price?

That's true, you can set the hit points of an item to a maximum of 500000.

well, i think all this stuff (trading sys., lvl up, etc) is easy, but our main problem is that players could enter in the middle of a game and save characters (but if we achieve that players enter in the middle of a game, saving characters will be easy, cuz characters are saved now, but not restored).

In normal rpgs, when a player leaves, his character remains in the battlefield until the game is complete or everyone leaves. When this happeneds the map just disapperes. Maybe if you could make the map 'stay' even if everyone leaves. This way when the player rejoins he still has his character, on where he left him.


also if you think about working on that, make a trigger, when the player leaves his character, the character will be invurnable so other players can't kill him

but, when you say that the player leaves, this means he disconnects from the game, and he couldn't be able to rejoin it again (this is our main problem).

A server can only stay open 12 h cuz then your host will disconnect you

WELL, it seems joining players is SO difficult, so we could make the other steps in another project as long as we think how to achieve our MAIN problem.

I've thinking :D and we could make a ROL game of Warcraft.

Let me Xplain. This would be like NWN, there would be a director (the DM) or various, and players will get-in and play the adventures the DM can create in Real Time.

The DM would have a special dialog-menu system that would allow him to make everything he wants. DM would be able to program some events at certain time, etc. It would be like real ROL games, not a RPG.

In this way, all the players start the ROL game at the same time, but they can do everything they want (trade, lvl-up, chat, work).

It would be the small-reduced version of our BIG project :).

hack the world editor and make caches work for multiplayer.

Blizzard is going to do the multiplayer cache fix, aren't they? But the map staying open forever is impossible.
