Nice work on the editor, Pitzer, but I encountered a very annoying problem.

I can freely scale and rotate all doodads but I can't do this with custom doodads. Any ideas?

That's easy. In the doodad/destructable editor change the value for max scale to 10 and min scale to 0.01 and the value for fixed rotation (or however it is called) to -1

As you might know warcraft maps are mpq archives. For all the archive manipulation I use SFmpq.dll (it offers all functions you might need).

And all the files that are in that archive (fex. w3e, w3i, wpm ....) are simple binary written files (for which I needed to know the file format of course).

In case you didn't know, the ExtProtect source code is also freely available at the address in my signature. If you have any example maps that fail to work when protected with the latest version of ExtProtect, send some my way(using the email address at the extprotect page linked to in my sig) and I'll update ExtProtect to fix the problem ASAP.

I'm not sure if there are problems with ExtProtect (but I know for sure protecting with HL or the MapUtilities doesn't work well with some WEU maps).
I'll look into protection matters next week and contact you if I find any problems. Thanks for your will to help
If I find anything, I will also put it to the attention of BlackDick, who is dealing with the ExtProtect source to make his HeavyLocker compatible to ExtProtect.

Well, I've currently stopped working on the Enhancer, instead I've completed most of the WE-related bugfixes, changes and additions. We're also busy with comparing and combining UMSWE/WEU stuff in order to merge our files.

After that I'll have to recreate the UI for the enhancer. As you see that's still pretty much to be done so I can't give any eta.

Nice editor but I have a problem:
When I put a song of a sound in my map, i can hear it with the sound pannel but in-game, I don't hear the sound, I try with music and sound and with mp3 and wav files...
The old sounds work perfectly.

That problem is not related to WEU. I havn't even changed anything in the sound editor.
Maybe you havn't unchecked the 3D-sound checkbox for your new sound. If that doesn't help I suggest you ask your question in the general map developement forum.

Great Tool i escpially like all the hidden units that it shows, but i have 2 questions when i imported the bloodelemental from blizzards td map before i dled this it worked fine but when i used this it does not work?(by the way i did not convert files witch i have no idea how to do or what tool do use help needed!) by the way are importing icons any diff from models it seems to be ima noobie importer/triggerer

One more question when i press the patch of the other thing it just sits there doing nuthing i press button and nuthin

Great new editor man! But i have a problem with the hero save pass. It is in all different colors and it has a color code at the end in white. Just thought I'd tell you.
