You have a point... But would you rather i envented some complex reason there are taurean in Northrend like that they are reletives of the taurean or would you like me to just forget it. To tell the truth so long as Warbringer is OK with it an no offense to him but he has nitpicked a great many things in this campaign i belive i am ok. Anyway the campaing dosn't work without the taurean even if it does without wyverns. CHANGES the campaign is excluding models and skins to make it more simple. Because of the new expansion set there is to be a new troll hero for the orc team who will do well as the hermit the Overseer will become a farseer and as for the old ver frost wurm... Well he isn't compulsery in the campaign. I may reply later then usual as i must return to my studies. |

I just read the beginning of this thread, and jeeeez warbringer. Are you ignorant? He made up an alternate history. People are allowed to do that. In fact, people can make a mod however they damn well please, and its not your place to go around telling people how to make their stories. |

Oh and if you need help, I do sound, terrain, and simple triggers. |

Great, I need VAs. I will get back to you very soon, I am just finilizing the lines for the 1st mission. |

Ok, I havn't finished but to be basic, The Voices needed for the 1st mission are. -grunt voice--> jeering at the farseer, discussing the price with the ice troll, speaking to the peon about his village. -farseer voice--> explaining his vision to the ignorant grunts, arguing with the grunts (on many ocasions). -wolf voice--> giving the quest to kill the Wendigos in his cave. -ice troll priest--> discussing the price 4 the thawing potion. -peon--> asking for help with the protection of his village. If you coud do one or know somone who might please tell me. |

I can do peon and I think I can probably do grunt. I can definately do the farseer. Just let me know. |

ok, I won't be long but here is a bit more about at least the opening demo: the Farseer sees a vision (the cameramoves about then you see him wake up suddenly) of undead swarming abotu in the valley and moving his way, He tries to tell the grunts but they jeer at him and that he had fallen alseep for no reason (it was a trace) The undead end up coming which seems to swell the Farseer's ego considerably though he has to fight them. |

due to some errors i had to restart the triggers but i have however now recreated a less large opening demo that is very much different. Here are the sounds required at the moment. I had one error i don't understand: |

due to some errors i had to restart the triggers but i have however now recreated a less large opening demo that is very much different. Here are the sounds required at the moment. I had one error i don't understand: I put in my Va sounds which were crap and tried to save but it said stuff like, line 22 needed a =...etc so i had to delete all my sounds and then it worked. Anyway there are the sounds needed. Farseer = F Grunt 1 = G1 Grunt 2= G2 (the grunts are gathered round a fire, the Farseer adresses them) F: You have a few minutes rest but then we must move on. These hills are swarming with undead and we must destroy them. (he turn his back on the grunts and they begin talking) G1: I am tired of listening to this one who calls himself a Seer, I say we get rid of him here and now while we have the chance. (other grunts = yeah good idea) G2: Fool! You'll haev us all killed! I personally would rather keep my neck (other grunts = yeah he has a point there) G1: Coward! A knife in the back will finish him off, Seer or not! We could do it tonight while we are away from the others. (the farseer turns around and adresses grunt 1) F: So, some of you doubt my powers? I am a Seer, my curse to know my fate. Let any who doubt me step forward and fight. (grunt one runs out and assumes a fighting stance) G1: Yes I will fight, and when I have killed you I will rip your wrinkled body to pieces. (the farseer glows with energy and grunt one is carbonised by lightning). F: (turning back to the others) I know my fate and how i will meet my end at the hands of one of my own kin, but not you! If there is any mutiny to be done i will settle it now, if not lets move out! END |

I think i amy need a bit of time to work on these maps... I havn't finished everything that needs to be done. With the additon of the Crypt Lord, the undead hero your quest will be in the 2nd mission to destroy a low level one. I have a lot to fix up thugh, when i looked back on it my opening demo seems crappy. I am going to put a bit more work into it starting with defining the characters... I also don't have much time to visit this site so i amy be away a lot. |

If i were you, I would read it again. If you had actually read it, you would notice that wilbo says that his campaign is after WCII history. However, he had some elemnts of the story wrong, which i corrected. hopefully, he read that giant thread i made containing the stories from the pdf files. So therefore he did not make up a alternate history, the history was incorrect, he wanted to change the conflict which followed WCII. And i wasn't telling him, i was advising him. The conversation did not get to a heated point until things such as this: Quote:
However, logic prevails, and he fixes up his campaign's history. Quote:
Oh, and in case you don't agree with me, and you too wilbo, the brushfire was up at the time i posted this. http://wc3campaigns.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=10084 |

brushfire? I am of mixed opinions whether to have models and skin or not. It certainly would help me a bit but would probably be more work than its worth. I played DOA (defense of the ancients) there are many new spells there infact just about all r new and a new model and skin for grom who became a photom lancer... That is how i would have liked my orc to be apart from the spear and blue skin (blue skin actually might look reasonably good). I have haulted most progress because of the coming of the expansion... This may change many things and i may have to restart all maps i finish (and as i am a perfectionist that could take weeks). The hero for orcs is seen in screenshots but not annouced. He will be good for my Hermit but he may not become the real hero. I have for some tie been planning a basic 2nd part to the story liek and expansion. It is Nightelf, you are a demon hunter who chasing the now corrupt BM arrives on the ile where the tomb of Sargeras is (correct anything that is wrong here). The first mission ilvolves making it to the tomb where a cinematic show the BM using mirror image, while 1 fights the other runs of into the tomb. Of course the demon hunter guesses which one is real but the tomb closes and he can't get in. From inside the BM rallies three poweful but gibbering mad demons and sends them to wreck havok on the world. U must hunt each one down in turn, the first is a fast small one, he flies low and "picks up villagers" (a complex trigger not a model. when he flies low you can attack him because he is not counted as flying. He drop villagers on your head if you are not carful. he is in lorderon. The second is terrorizing Kaz Modan using powerful magic. You must use mana burn to defeat him. the third is a very powerful fighter, you must use demon form to defeat him he is in Azeroth. Then you return to the tomb of Sargeras. For some reason you coudn't get in before but now you can. you run into the tomb where the BM has his back to you as you strike him he disappears and the tomb closes. Waterfalls appear from holes in the walls and the screen shakes. you hear laughter as the tomb goes back under water. before the screen goes black you see the demon hunter die though he appear to be commiting suicide. |

I think we might want a skin or two but we prbably dont need many Also i think we shouldnt worry about a sequal untill we finish or at least til we get alittle further and if we're waiting til the expo to do the maps we might want to try to get someone to make a skin or two while we're waiting (sorry i cant skin) Oh ya and I shouldn't really be saying "we" cause you have done almost all the work. All ive done was was provide a few ideas |
