Hey i'm interested in your RPG map, how is the status now?

Well I've been having a lot of troubles with the campaign of late, I even lost it at one point since I've recently got a new computer and was transferring files. Thankyou for your interest and I'm doing the best I can to sort out the problems with it. I'll be getting the newest playable version up very soon so people can take a look, although to be honest I don't like the terrain that much in the new level. I've improved a lot since it was done and to me it looks kind of sloppy. Like I've mentioned before I suck at terrain.

I'll be posting it as soon as I can, so keep those eyes peeled.

the terrain on the first 2 maps was very good (this is one of the terrain gods speaking)

That's true - also the ideas of the quests are quite good!

Thanks guys, your encouragement means a lot.

I've decided to put the campaign up 'as it is', rather than mess around with it. In total there's 3 full levels and about a quarter of the fourth. I noticed a few things whilst playing the campaign today. Firstly the abundance of cut scenes, I never realised how story-happy I was. They're not skippable yet either, as I don't know how to do that. Also I'm going to have to mess with the terrain on the third level, I really don't like it. The fourth level's terrain is far from finished yet, so that's excuseable.

I would like comments or complaints of any kind, including suggestions for the campaign. This includes quest ideas, ability suggestions (Since none of them are near final yet), or anything else you can think of. Characters and plot ideas are pretty much my department, but feel free to contribute.

Thanks

Hey, is this campaign dead? I hope not. Watching such a promising project dissapear is kind of tragic, isn't it?

Well thanks for the compliment. I tried and tried to keep doing this campaign but I can't bring myself to continue it. Essentially I needed support from people to continue with it. I didn't get it so I grew bored.

That and the fact that I don't like the terrain. I'm working on a campaign that blows this one out of the water. To me it's pretty special and I can't be more proud of the terrain. It has the same characters and is set in the same world, but it's kind of a sequel. I'm also going to be including a lot of what was commented on for this campaign. If all goes well and I get some good support, it could turn out to be a very nice campaign.

Though I'm only one amateur designer, I think with a little help this could be good. I'll post some news very soon...

Well, I'm eagerly awaiting news, then. And, if this new campaign will blow the previous one "out of the water"... well, let's just say that I'm drooling this very moment.

First sign of my new project here. I've been hard at work for the past week on this and I'm hoping it shows. I've attatched a screenshot below that shows the starting camp. Each of those buildings have a purpose and are fully accessible to the player, something lacking in my original campaign. I'm concentrating more on group combat here, with the main character being able to hire units and equip them.

I don't want to give too many details away which is why there's only one screenshot right now, but as things progress I'll release some more information. I've got some very interesting things I'm going to put in soon...

Nice screenshot - will you finish the Blademaiden project?

The last mission with the ghost was much fun as far as I could play it! ;)
