New Post Rating System

Would you like it if you could see your post count as well as your points under your username, title and avatar?

Wc3c Strongly disapproves of "selling" Wc3 objects or knowledge for points.

Also, the official way to represent currency is with a '!'. For example, "I have !500."

Also, cooler items and abilities will be added, so start doing good things for the community. :D

Stoned said he liked my idea in another thread, but if this gets an official no no, it only hurts one forum section and make 5 or 6 angry people who want to leave the site happy.

Well points I guess are ok. You need a link on the main page to see your post count (maybe others). Like under options have "Option - View Post Count"?

Btw I want my !513! (well i want my points to be set to it cause thats my post count) but I will be fine.

Sorry for double post but..... Ok, when you rate a post or go to the store and it says how much you need, it says "U". While not a big deal it bugs me a little and I may be just ranting but oh well. If it was fixed to "you" it would look much better and more professional;) .

when will the point system be working for all the themes? it is only working for the night elves theme right now and i hate them. where is the orcs theme point system at? where is the "thaz dengo" and the "dah bu" at in this forum? i hate night elves.

Zachary_Shadow: Wait a week before judging the system, also Skins and models take time to make and I find it fair that the makers request points for them, at least it is better than doing it for free.

I have an idea! Why not add chupons? Like "25% off your next buy of glow for your user name!" or "buy a avatar settings, then the next time you buy it, it is free!" mods could like give them out to people if they do good deeds.

I'm already liking the point system, Coupons would just make things even more enjoyable, me, i want a "free MIDI song for your profile!" coupon.

I think we should do this in user cp instead... because i don't usually go to peoples profile, but i do go to my user cp... but on the other hand, I'm only one who can see profile so i could just put on my own music... :bgrun: so how bout on threads started by a user they get their music :ggani: on the coupons... they'd be pretty hard to give out fairly, because a useful thread may get you 30 points if its super useful, but thats not even 1/6 of the points need for the cheapest thing... they could be given out for tuts :bgrun: or hitting a certain post count like 200 points would get you 25% off... ok heres what I'm trying to say... everything too much to get free... you should get coupons in % :D

I think the store is a really bad idea.
But points could be a good way of kinda "rewarding" people for giving to the wc community, ex: points for posting skins,models,maps and for amount of ppl who download it, writing popular tuts and whatnot. just to kind of show who has talent or experience and shares it

hmmmm.... you changed the rating thing.. its good in a lot of ways... but then its bad :bgrun: you cant gieve people points for tuts... but they may get points from mods and stuff... but there cant be rating sprees so thats good... o and i also noticed you rate attachment 1-5... do you get that many points? cause if you rate something 1... it usually means its bad emote_confused

Well, you'll have to "buy" one now, you used to be able to walk up to your profile and enter it in, but now you have to buy one.
