I have no idea what maps you're talking about. I'm assuming they're AOS maps, but I don't play much on bnet, I play custom campaigns more than AOS type stuff.

Just model edit the infernal, or use rock golem.

And the hero's not inspired, I made it up off the top of my head (like the others).

It does work. Blade storm does work. But for the graphics of the spell would be a Tornado Model. I did the same spell on one of my old heros I did but instead used a cyclone buff. Althought it doesnt stay on effect for that long only like 3 seconds It should work. The bad thing though the unit can attack while the spell is being cast.

For that Fire spell caster thingy on the last hero for Illidan.

Mark of Chaos 3
Why not have a spell based of Frost Nova but chance the model to Mark of Chaos. Put duration to .01 and have nova damage same amount of damage as target.

Fire Ball 3
Base off Rain of Chaos spell and have like it summon 5 infernals. Make each start summoning does some damage and stun. Make duration of each infernal 0.01.

Fire Drain 3
Drain spell that takes off mana and hp from opponent. Uses the lightning effects of that red lightning. Cant rememind the spell name model,

Fire Shield 3
Reskin the lightning shield to red and orange.

Magic Defense Neutral
Defend that reduce damage from magic attacks instead of piercing

Fire Storm Ultimate
Stampede but uses the doodad model of cinematics fire. Do the target one with Item Imolation model and have the sound be like howl instead of stampede call.

Never mind didnt read the last text. No fire spell unit on Illidan's side heh.

eerr.. yes well, what would you call a death knight and crypt lord? we are using both those skins allready for tanks.
and gung, making a hero up from the top of your head doesnt make it original. we want heros that fit in the story good, and that have a specific function in the team, so that both teams will be equally strong and usefull.

again the goal of the map is to make it fun to play, and in an eos a big part of that depends on the heros and their skills.

please dont let us turning ideas down dicurage you from posting ideas, if the idea itself is not good it can always give inspiration and lead to a new hero.

please if you really want to help us, take a close look at the list of what we have.

one more time:
Illidan is blood elf, naga and anything naga-related
Maiev is Undead (not just scourge, undead) and corrupted night elves.

NO burning legion, and NO 'friendly' night elves or nature related stuff.

biggest issues right now are:
-to fill the last strenth spot for Maiev
-to either find a new strenth for Illidan, or find some good use for the blood elf captain skin, or come up with a new Illidan spellcaster
-still need some leet skills here and there


EDIT: just saw ak's reply...
A: we allready have some fire inspired caster, thats not the problem
B: it has 6(!) skills...

to make things clearer, we might need a new spellcaster becouse we want to give the skills of the current fire mage to the blood captain, unless we get a great idea for either a new Illidan tanker or another way to equip the captain....

One more time:

Corrupted Angel (not an actual angel)
Maiev
Model-Warden, reskinned to look angry and malicious

Idea: A once noble and honorable night elf, was corrupted by constant interaction with evil. Now seeks to undo what she used to strive for, because millennia of not achieving anything major have made her think of it as pointless.

Str based, Ag 2nd.

Corrupt - Mutates the target, making them go insane (give to neutral hostile). Mana and cooldown decrease with lvls. Used to make enemy units hostile to all, not just you.

Insanity Blast - Mana burn. Gives the target a taste of insanity, making their intelligence hurt them.

Curse - Like Curse or Purge, but modified for heroes (more potent, lasts longer).

Lich King's Pact - Ultimate. Like Inferno, but summons massive skeleton instead of infernal. Calls upon the Lich King to honor their alliance, and send his aide.

sorry... sllready using warden model for Maievs Pupil... and most of teh skills are allready in use
mana burn--> Illidans disciple
Corropt--> not in use, but we allready have 2 heros that manipulate units.
Curse--> That might be beter then the 'inproson' skill we had in mind forst place...
Ulti--> she allready has a better one, and we allready have 2 heros that summon 'soldiers from beond.

Maievs Pupil:

-'curse' (purge)- slow target unit for a short while, dispelling all magics from it.
-blink-
-fevor aura- enemies walk slower, u gain attack speed.
-dark valkhyres- sommones the spirits if two passed wardens, creating two extremely fast, but weak summones that can cast a beefed up blink.

thnx, this hero is better now :D...

now we need those tanks... we where thinking about maybe giving it beastmaster skin, and making it leet at buiding destroying.

I have to disagree with u erwten, i DONT think its better now.

Fevor aura: no... we have a LOT of slow skills, not some kind of slow aura 2.. she IS already the ultimate chaser, this will make her waaaaay overpowered... and i dont like curse, i dont now y.. i'd have to say i like imprison more.

...quick sand...
slows units in an AoE, Damage to buildings lasts a period of time. (not sure if we should make this strong and channeling or weak and just one time cast...)

...sand stream...
deal damage to some units, using a wave of sand. not sure what arts to give to this though... but we´ll figure that out.

...sand storm... create a sand storm that will damage and blind units that are too close to it. Not sure if this shoud be summon or channel either, but at least one of them should be channel, and the other summon.

...Dune Worm Maggot... (ultimate)
Plant a dune worm magot in target init, slowely eating it from inside out. if target unit dies while under the effect of the spell, the corpse will spawn a very weak maggot, that will eveolve into a stronger creature (probubly scorpion) after 10 seconds, if you can manage to keep it alive that long.

the big picture behind this hero is, in a strange way quite simulair to the soul revenant, its all about the ultimate. the damage over time dune maggot gives is minor, becouse its a weak magot, and once it erupts from the corpse its even more vulnerable. The idea is that you can use sand storm and quick sand to make it easyer to pull you magot out of the battlefield before anyone kills it, insuring its survival. the nuke skill is more to make sure that target enemy dies while the magot is inside target unit. once the magot has evelved, you will have a VERY powerfull creature with no timer!

for this hero we´ll need a brown tornado and probubly a brown waterfall for the nuke, if thats possible...

if this hero is on then the fire mages´ skills wil be transferred to the blood elf captain skin, and we´ll have our last tank.

+we came up with a backup plan for ghost rangers ghost form, if we cant make her able to shoot magic arrows in etherial form, we can always make it a momentary buff that grants 100% eveation, that will basically have the same effect... we'll just give it a short duration...

we'd reather fix the etherial idea though...

and we have encounterred another problem, with the naga ranger this time: increasing the cast range of magic arrows somehow doesnt increase her range... while normal searing arrows have 600 range in 1st level and 700 range in 2nd and 3rd... why the hell doesnt it work?!:(

Ok, i'll try again with the tank hero idea:
Ancient of Corruption
Description: The pact with the lich king gave maiev's watchers unholy power, some of her ancients used the power and became the Ancient of Corruption, they losed their ability to create units, but they have gained enormous siege power.
Skills:
Eat tree- As the original idea.
Desease- The ancient of corruption is covered with cloud of a poisoning desease, dealing damage to any units that dare approach the ancient(Desease Cloud based)
Spellcasting- The ancient of corruption has learned necromantic magic, allowing him to cast spells from that type.(spellbook based, could be kind of imbalanced, but you can add weaker abilities instead)
Mutate- The ancient of corruption splits into 3 dark ancients that have different but strong powers, if no one of the ancients survive's, the ancient will die.
Is this one good?

I'd say that no this is not a good one. all of the abilties that you listed are basically just taken from other heros. They're looking for very original ideas for this map.

Well, here's another Maiev tank hero idea from me.

Shadow Fiend (Name could, yet again, use improvement. Still, it's just a concept.)

Model: Err... Something shadowy. Perhaps the Vengeance model, with some dark smoke attachments.

Concept:
Not much is known about the Fiend, but it is rumored that it was a failed magical experiment by an evil wizard many years ago. Apparently originally elven, the creature was twisted beyond all recognition. Travelling the shadows of the lands, it eventually came across Maiev and her fellow night elves on the way to corruption, and felt some sort of kinship with them. It is now a fiercly loyal servant of Maiev.

Stats: Agility based, but strength heavy: Strength > Agility > Intelligence.

Innate Ability: Shadow Step. During the night, the Shadow Fiend may use a weaker version of the blink spell. (shorter range, longer cooldown, higher cost, etc...)
Abilities:

Intangibility(Passive): The Shadow Fiend often seems to have no real substance to it, and blades and arrows will often pass right through it dealing little or no damage. Gives damage reduction: Minimum damage taken: 10 - 2 per level, chance of working: 15%+10% per level, damage reduction 50.

Blind: Throwing out a stream of twisting shadows, the Shadow Fiend obscures the vision of one target enemy hero for a short amount of time, as well as reducing the defensive capabilities of the target. Blinds (sight range -3000 or so) the target hero, removes 2 armor points per level. Lasts for 10 seconds per level.

Fear of the Dark(Aura): Reduces enemy movement and attack speeds by quite a lot (Say, 15% per level.) but is only in effect during the night.

Shadow Strike: Well, it's pretty much what it sounds like, but with something of a twist. When casting this spell, the Shadow Fiend first applies a more powerful version of the Shadow Strike effect on the target, with a slightly longer duration as well. The Fiend then disappears. At the end of the duration, or when the victim dies, the Fiend materializes next to the target in the same condition it was in when the spell was cast.

yet again a beuitifull hero idea... man, u got some origiginal stuffs! :D

...but... it doesnt really seem usable with a tank, we love the idea of 'night' figure though, so we'll make the 'knife assasin' be like that...

short mock-up for the new skills (off top of my head compining the two)

maybe something that will temporarily allow her to throw two knifes each attack... or maybe stick to fan of knifes, allthough that doesnt really fit the concept anymore, (EDIT: mayba a move to turn day into night!?) this baby needs some seriouse thinking, we really dont want two passives on an assasin.

bulletcatcher.. u are great... we still needed to complete the third Maiev assasin hero... u seem to be the only one coming up with truely leet hero concepts (no offence people... but ancients and infernals as heros!?)... u will definetly go into the credits :ggani:

PS: moonstones are availible at the druid shop, temporarily turning day into night

this hero will definetly be a late bloomer :ggani: very weak in begin game, but once u have the aura, the poison, the ulti and the ability to turn day into night... she'll pwn all...
