PlayaJohn: I guess you're refering to the NoLimits patch. It seems it's doing nothing but it removes the cap for placing doodads and items in your map. The max number of doodads in the map is about 8000 i think.

orcmasta: thanks for the report. I'm pretty sure this problem occured because your hero code was pretty long and including the color information the string might have exceeded the max string length and would be cut off at the end.

Yes this is the problem that we're having. Our save code is too long. Is there any way to compress it?

I'll fix it for the next version. And I'll also add a compression utility to reduce the size of the maps.

Noob question:

From my understanding you are suppose to create your map initially using this tool to get access to the features.

What about exsiting maps? Can i use this tool with them? Will i lose features? How do I do it?

That's easy. In the main menu directly below the Create Map button there's a Edit Map button.

There you can load existing maps and add or remove all the features you wanna have.

PitzerMike can you please make a version which is same as current WEU, that has all fields of the tinker's abilities? For example strength bonus of his ultimate is missing in object editor. PLEASE I need it as soon as possible!!! You could do a "Tinkerpatch" for the editor, because it's shit when you can't edit many important fields!!!I know how to edit the SLK but I got no Microsoft Excel and it's impossible to mix a .slk with the object editor abilities I made.

There's already a tinker fix. If you download the new installer from http://umswe.wc3campaigns.com/weu
then uninstall your current weu and install this version it should work.

Or did you already install the 1.15 version of WEU? If so can anyone else who has the 1.15 version confirm that any fields related to the tinker are missing?

Lol I have it... I got the second 1.15 version, first was a patch and second a new installer, and I installed it and still can't see all fields... I'll reinstall again but... Btw, do you still go to Warcraft3.de? I know before around 16 months I did my first posts about custom spells with ROC and I had much trouble with some guys there, don't know if you were one of them^^

Edit: Uninstalled and installed again the 1.15 version, still not all fields work, the important ones are the fields of Robo-Goblin(Strength Bonus,Armor Bonus, and I think there's more!) which are totally missing, plz add them!!! Additionally when you go to Pocket Factory one of the 4 Pocket Factories has the field:
A) Text - Hotkey - Learn F//Pocket Factory

Yes, and I left WC3.de too^^I know that you don't know me since I always have other names. Just go to the Robo-Goblin ability and there are NO data fields but when you look in the tooltip you see a <(Robo-Goblin-Code),DataA1> and some other datas which don't exist in the object editor which say the armor and strength increase. You can't even choose what unit to morph in!

When I used the new WEU it worked great for awhile but then now when I load the maps for it it goes straight to score screen a nd everyone's name is changed to MAPSTEALER
WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED!? :(

You must have opened a map with a kind of a new protection, but if you are clever you can find out it yourself, when it says MAPSTEALER you could think about that the maker of the map didn't want that anyone edits it so he protected it... That has nothing to do with WEU!

Btw: Pitzermike, how long will it take till the tinker patch?

Ok, fixed the tinker problem and a few missing Strings.

Get the new version here . (it's a completely new installer)
