In answer to your question a long time ago, I USED to be able to run image extractor in windows ME, but recently it's stopped working properly. It's been producing faulty .blp's, when you try to view them in IE or WE, an error message pops up saying 'filename.blp is corrupted' and shuts down. I tried this with a totally unedited model that I exported from .blp to .blp, put is back in the mpq only to find that had corrupted to. Anyone else had this problem and been able to solve it. Help please! emote_confused

Where can i get this download? The link posted in the first page doesn't work as it is linked to the downloads section on this site which doesn't work for me either.. and all the other sites just point to this site. Weird. For me it worked on Windows ME. Are you sure that you have installed the right runtimes for it (the right version might also be important)?

I suggest to install those, which are needed for WinMPQ. After installing those WinMPQ (a tool, that should be on every modders computer) needs, Image Extractor II works (for me). This worked on Windows ME and on Windows XP several times.

PSP Beta 8 will not work with the Image Extracter. You can edit the skin fine, but the problem comes when you try to save it. For some reson or another it will not compress the blp right, even when you check uncompressed. So use the PSP 7 version untill the full version 8 comes out.

starting tonight Image Extractor II stopped working I keep gettin Sytem Error &H8007007E (-2147024770). The Specified Module Cannot Be Found.

did that a few times. Its as if it cant find the dll files, no matter where I extract everything too. Only works when the dll's are on my desktop and the extractor in the wc3 folder... odd...

The DLLs have to be copied from the Warcraft III directory to your Image Extractor II directory.

yea I did that its not working. I get that error no matte where I copy them unless its on the desktop... very strange..

YEA, thats what I used to do, and it used t owork fine....strange... oh well no biggy. Desktop just gets a little more cluttered
